Sounds like he is talking down to the fans saying they didn't understand the "role" goose played. and we are not worth the time to explain it to us. unless he was talking to Bucky or Hamilton then his attitude was completely justified.
20 games of anyone not just goose for a first. It ain't like we are cup favorites this year. - Pope of Pucks
okay he may have been a little angry here, but i think he finished strong with the "it's about pushing forward" stuff

The difference between Miller and Pominville and Kaleta is that Miller will be absolutely brutally honest when he gives an interview.
Pominville sounded like a pretty cut and dry typical response that you guys are looking out of Miller. You guys complain when they give those interviews, yet when Miller shows his true emotions you guys blow up at him over it?
C'mon its obvious hes upset to see Gaustad go, but he understands at the same time. - theblueandgold
Miller is at times too honest and casts the blame on others . that has changed the past month. We have actually heard him say the game loss was his fault and he had to play better. As far as us guys getting on him ? There a maybe 10 of us in here that made comments . I heard 10 or more customers at work saying the same thing . so that is a small foot print of what the rest of the people that heard it think of him.

This has me close to the end of my rope with Miller. I understand you lost a good friend and an all around good guy, but its the nature of the business. Darcy made the right call
Im beginning to hope they look into trading him after the season. His act is getting stale. If he wants his BFF back so damn bad, tell him to knock his contract demands down about 3 years and about a million bucks or so less

from page 1 to page 9, its pretty much everyone saying "stfu miller", making jokes about his stats as if the rest of the team isnt struggling.
yet when we lose a game everyone from page 1 to page 9 makes a comment in the range of "we're going to get the same response from the players that we get every game -- weve got to be better, weve got to fight through it" etc
Miller is one of if not the only player that on this team that will give an honest interview.
Also, I guess the difference over the last 12 games where we have gone 7-2-3 is not Vanek picking up his scoring and stepping up and being that bonafide $7M+ star we pay him to be, but Miller picking up his play and putting the team on his back to fight for the playoffs.
But go ahead and keep making notice of Miller's "29th" stats but fail to mention how Vanek went from nearly a point per game player to a point every 10 game player this second half of the season.

Remember all the comments of Lindy has lost the team ? Good possibility he just got it back. Not that goose was the problem ,but in a sense these core guys seemed to run the show and they are slowly getting dismantled . And as Darcy mentioned . there is a new core coming up with myers ennis cody and gerbe

i totally agree
I think this move was the start of a "reshaping" when it comes to the leadership of the room. While I believe Goose is probably the last guy that would be a problem in the room, if they are really serious about keeping Ruff and Regier for another 14 years, they need to reshape the room. Of the 5-6 guys id consider the "Rochester core" (Roy, Goose, Van, Poms, Miller and Stafford), it wouldnt shock me in the least if 4 of them are gone by the start of next season, or at the very least, 2 more (Roy and Miller being the most obvious, I have a feeling theyll hold onto Staff)
Miller has already said that he would waive to go to Chicago
He is not playing well this year and I believe it has to do with being on the other side of the country from his new wife - - MTL1
Now youre just making stuff up, because he vehemently came out and stated he never asked for a trade and never would, he wants to be a Sabre. Someone from Edmonton media made that up.

i love miller, i'm definitely not where you're at, but you're right, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth to an extent. i understand he lost his friend, and i can even see him getting upset but he really needs to let this go. hopefully he does. i don't mind when he's mad about a call or others play, it kind of annoys me, but he definitely is a bit of a loose cannon emotionally at times and although i generally like his fire, i can see how it rubs some people the wrong way because he does need to cool it a bit.

I have never heard a player whine and female dog as much as Miller has this season. The guy needs to just shut his mouth - keatondixon
I've never seen a fanbase go from praising their franchise players to saying everything negative about them in the book in the course of minutes like the Flyers fans did with Richards and Carter as soon as they were traded.
