Curious what the reaction will be should we come out and stomp the Islanders.
- gkmkiller

These games are always tight and the Isles get up for it, we'll see what this team is made of and if they have the mindset to "kill the Isles" like the Devils did to us, but I don't see us blowing them out, I say 3-2 win for us.

Should recall Erixon as well. MDZ needs rest and Girardi could use some as well.

Erixon should be up here now. Might as well know what he's got now before playoffs begin.

Hoping for a Bruins beat down on Pitt to help the Rangers. Of course Pitt gets 1st goal but Boston on PP.

Read an interesting stat the other day. Forget where but it said that each of the last 5 cup winners have played under .500 hockey in March. Good sign for us maybe?

All year long, I beat the drum for getting rid of Wolski. Even before the season started I wanted him bought out. But it never made sense to me that they traded him for a pick at the deadline and never added anything.

Technically if you want to get nitpicky, ultimately the Rangers were a seller at the deadline in reality.

The lack of depth is extremely exposed right now, and as I write this I watch his freight train called the Penguins make it a 3-0 lead over the Bruins.

You can be an optimist all you want. But does anybody think we even compare to the Penuins right now? This team looks insane. And Sid isn't even back yet.

Pitt is the best team in the league right now. By far in my opinion. As I have stated on multiple occassions, the Rangers were due for a slump, and I think they will be fine long term. With that said, even if they get back to the level of play they've played at all year long, Pittsburgh still looks like the better team.

With that said, things change, and while Pitt is looking like a world beater right now, hopefully they come back to earth a little.

And I agree with you about the depth issue. If they were going to trade Wolski (it would have been nice if they acquired some forward depth). They are paying the piper now with the injuries hitting.

If Philly beats NJ tonight they'll be behind you by 4 points. If NJ wins, you'll have both the devs and flyers back by 6pts. Big game for you guys tonight.

To me they have Malkin, Neal and Staal plus Cindy if she comes back without getting knocked out again (cough cough next Thursday) and that's it, they are not a deep team at all, I don't know how they keep winning but I hope they turn back into a pumpkin real soon.

We will cool down some though. I think 20-4-1 in last 25. No team with this parity will keep up those kind of numbers over the long haul.

Its not possible to run the board from wire to wire. Do you guys remember when the Bruins rattled off 12 in a row. Teams go on tears, but once the post season starts, thats when you see who has their jets going.

It's crazy what a difference a week makes. One week ago today, the Rangers beat Boston, were 10 points up on the Pens, and looked like they would roll to the number 1 seed short of a collapse. Well, that was last week!.

I was afraid of this past week. Had a bad feeling. Although I never imagined it would be his bad.

Agreed... I think with ticket prices going up next year I think we'll see less people showing up to games next year. It's really outrageous. Last year against small market teams you could get tickets for 40 bucks on ticket exchange.

I paid 70+ to see the Rangers play Columbus one night. I know it also has to do with the Rangers record this year possibly, but come on. That is a little nuts.

One of my Ranger STH friends is hoping his seat partner will agree to bring in 2 more guys to split the tix 4 ways. If not, he may bow out and go in with other seat neighbors who are considering taking in new partners. You guys don't really benefit from the remodel except for better lighting, but you'll be the ones paying for it.

There is great satisfaction in beating a team you should beat. And any win builds confidence.

On Cally, why don't they just admit it's broken?
