Jesus (frank)ing christ the Islanders are a joke!!! They were leading the Devils 1-0 with less than 2 minutes left, but gave up 2 goals in 14 seconds and lost. So the Devils gain another 2 points on us. Guaranteed the Isles will come out like gangbusters tomorrow night to atone for this debacle. Unreal. |

The Islanders always play the Rangers like its their Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, tomorrow will be no different. I really want to bust out of this slump with a 6 or 7-1 thumping, no excuses, no more BS. The slide must stop now!
No panic BTW. |

Guaranteed the Flyers will score a goal to beat the Leafs in the next 2 minutes.
Edit: It took a shootout, but the result is still the same. |

Doomsday MM says the streak stops tomorrow. If not, I won't piss on the campfire any further. Will show support even in losses. Let's Go Rangers...for real! |

Rangers - Lost 3
Penguins - Won 8
Flyers - Won 5
Devils - Won 3
The Rangers certainly aren't getting ANY kind of help from these teams, so they had better bring a strong effort tomorrow night to make sure they get the 2 points. |

Hopefully those numbers will change soon...
Rangers will be on the W side and the other 4 teams the L side... |

I find it hysterical that now Bryzgalov is the best goalie in the league again because of these two shutouts. I just laugh at what a lot of people are saying now in Philly. Just a month ago they wanted this guy bought out. |

3 shut outs and apparently he is going to "beast" it up in the playoffs and the flyers are going to be a force and be a favorite to win the cup
and for the guy who posted above your post, devils have home and home with philly tomorrow and tuesday
its going to be an interesting and fun finish to the end of the season and playoffs |

I don't know anyone who is saying he's best in the league. But 3 shutouts in 4 games is nothing to sniff at, no matter who they're against and finally all the whiny little babies who don't acknowledge that it can take time for a free agent to adjust to a new team can shut up about it.
And don't fall into the media's trap. A fanbase is not a monolith. Not everyone agrees on every point. The loudest people are always the crybabies. That doesn't mean there weren't plenty of people here who believed that Jagr and Vanbiesbrouck had a point when talking about giving Ilya time to adjust and settle in.
By the way, Richards? May need time to adjust to a new team/situation. The people lining up to kick him in the tushie may find themselves looking really stupid at some point, too. And there will be plenty of people who weren't quick to call him a bust, no matter what others say. |

BTW how's Brad Richards working out for you guys? I've heard and seen a lot of Rags fans have been calling him a bust! I guess TylerSeguin19 was right after all, he would be the 3rd line center on the Bruins! |

nice edit
but if you guys were saying you wanted him out 2 weeks ago and now are all real high and saying you will be a force in the playoffs due to how he is playing now, well why not just support him through the whole season and not just through the good parts? and not just jump on the bandwagon when he plays well?
who cares who has the better stats the last 15games, the thing that is more important is the standings and the queen (i ll change it when he wins a cup) still has been winning and has great stats and will win the vezina not to mention you cant beat the rangers so |

Again. I'll say this...The same people who wanted him out are not the ones who are excited now. The ones who are excited now are the ones who kept saying to be patient and to let him play more. It's not that hard to understand the concept that not every fan in a fanbase is reflected by the most negative guy every day. If they were, we'd think that Cranford's opinion was the only one that counted in the Ranger forums.
Do all the Rangers fans think the Rangers suck now because they're in a little slump? Well if you pick the most negative posts here and base your opinion on that, yes. yes they do. But you and I know better. So let's try not to pretend that only the negative voices count here or over there.

this sir/ma'am is hockeybuzz, whatever is written on it is set in stone, i base all my knowledge from these intelligent posters, if one tells me that pigs can fly well then hell pigs can fly, this is the site of truth and reason, i believe for fact that redden is an all star in a slump, tavares is the best pure finisher since bossy, and that the rangers are going to implode and lose all the games due to the majority of posters on here the last day or two, and that bryze is in another solar system
if those are not truths then why is it when you look in the dictionary and look up hockey bible you see a link to hockeybuzz and leafs threads saying how they will make the playoffs if it was for 41 games and not 82

Lots of that comes from frustration too, in the heat of the moment when you watch your team let a potential win turn into a devastating loss, you might say/think some things you don't mean. I don't really think richards is the rangers version of a-rod, I made that comment last night when I was angry.. The guy has 8 game winning goals for us (including the WC.)
Point is, I have high hopes for this team, I don't think the seasons over but we all get frustrated. Slump now and get it out of the way, go into the playoffs hot and hopefully have a great end to a great season. |
