Looking at this lineup. Maybe there is something to you guys being a little worried tonight. Looking at it on paper.....
Kinda makes you wonder how you've been so successful this season?
Oh yes. Henrick!
If He's in goal tonight. You have no worries,

God... This is coming from a (frank)ing Isles fan? Eat chain. - evitageN
What do you disagree with?
The fact that you have an excellent chance to win with Henrick in net?
Or that tonight's Ranger line up doesn't look all that impressive on paper?
Or is it just the fact that you have to ridicule anything posted by an Isles fan? |

It's the way you come across as a troll... Let's see the Isles line up?
We have pretty good talent in the top 6 -- hurts having Cally out. Richards could be putting up better numbers and then imagine where we'd be?
Our 3rd line with Boyle, Prust, and Fedetenko and under performed compared with where they were last year.
Four line is goons, sure.
Then we have a PP that is 29th in the league and we have still been near first in the league for a lot of the year. If we had a PP that was even 15th, I think we'd be doing even better... That being said the lineup you posted and trolled etc etc has gotten us to first in the East and first in the NHL at points during the season. |

With Anaheim falling further out of playoff hunt I really wish they had just made the decision to trade Selanne...... to us of course. Selanne would have looked real good in a Rangers sweater. |

Sorry for the delay.
Got called away.
Exactly my point.
I read the early replys to the blog. Most of you guys were very concerned about tonights game. You know, Isles treat these games like the Stanley Cup... ya da ya da...
Then I saw someone posted the line up for the Rangers. You have to admit. Its not an impressive line up tonight.
Guys are missing. Scott serves no useful purpose against the Isles. He's over kill and useless. Unless he's gonna beat up JT or PAP.
So I commented. Then thought about your goalie. Laughed and thought how with Henrik in net, you guys have a better than average chance to win no matter whos out of your line up.
But as usual, its difficult to start a chat on this site with a Isles logo next to your name. Doesnt matter what you say or what your intention is. some one is gonna call you a troll.
Hell I could say good afternoon boys and someone is gonna jump down my throat.

So zucc got the call and no Cally and MDZ tonight. I doubt zucc makes it in time for tonight. Wonder if he gets a legit chance.
Any way, big game tonight. No more excuses, got to get the 2 points. Pitt looks like they won't lose any more games. We have to keep pace! |

This is a monster game tonight, even I may start saying that the sky is falling if we lose. I don't care if its 2-1, 10-9, we NEED 2 POINTS TONIGHT. |

Gotcha.
Scott has his role and his place on the team. No doubt about that. And I really like the Ranger grit and toughness. (as you may have guessed by my avatar )
But he's a liability against the Islanders. IMO. No different if Gillies were still in our line up and we dressed him against..... say Detroit or Montreal.
I believe Your chances to win tonight increase with him OUT of the lineup.
You never know how an Isles Rangers game is gonna pan out. As everyone should know by now, you throw the records and the lineups out the window. But after what I've seen from my team lately. We find ways to lose that havent even been invented yet. Well lets just say If I were a betting man, my money would be on Henrick. |

There are no gimmees in the NHL anymore, but the Rangers really need to win the next two games on home ice before that Pens game on Thursday. Those are just games you have to win, if you want to hold off a charging team like the Pens.
With that said, being a Rangers fans probably comes with a 4-1 loss tonight, followed by an overtime loss against the Canes on Tuesday -- setting up the full scale meltdown to come after the Pitt game on Thursday. |

You do know that Grabner is most likely out. Matt Martin has the flu as does Casey Cizikas. That 3 starters from our line up. And Bailey will most likely be back at Center where he disappears for weeks at a time.
You guys seem nervous. You should be anxious to get this one going IMO.
I'm looking forward to seeing your 4th line and half your 3rd lline challenge Haley to dance. |
