Tuukka if moved better get a young top 3 dman or top 4-5 forward. (probably good pick or prospect as well)
Tuukka is there, he is good and could be great. Although, goalies while they are hit or miss, are also a lot harder to hit than positional players. Have to be a very enticing deal for him. |

I go back and forth on the goalie thing. I still think Timmy has a few good years left in him. I like Anton and you got to think with all these young goalies(Svedberg, Volden, Morrison, Hutchinson, Courchaine, Gothberg) maybe one you can hit on. I think I trade Tuukka. I think he can bring back something significant in return. Something for this year and the next couple. Like I said my feelings on this change by the day but the more I read stuff the more I change my tune. - SandyMoger
that is not an unrealistic thought and i'm guessing most of us feel the same
as good as rask has looked at times he in not rinne or someone at that level
will he get there....who knows |

I said it and I'll say it again. The signing of all these young goaltenders makes me think that if anyone is indeed on his way out, it's Tuukka. Not saying that's the case, but these moves that have gotten some here on the "Timmy must be gone, FINALLY!!!" bandwagon actually favor Tuukka being shipped out over Thomas.
I like Tuukka ... I do. But I'm a far ways from 100% invested in him.

In my humblest opinion, any judgement on Tuukka neglects the fact that he's never actually been the guy to completely own the #1 role hands down.. Even in 09-10' when Timmay was struggling and hurt, was coming off a 36 win season and was making a bunch of cash, so he was the guy...
Tuukka, while sparingly playing has like a career 93% save percentage and just over 2 gaa at 24. Very very hard to move hime unless you get some solid poop back.
Timmay is awesome, compete level off the charts, but he might not want to sign back in Boston after next year. (frank), he may be looking for a 3 yr deal for another $12-$15 mm and now you've traded a 25 yr old franchise goalie. |

He's certainly not a lock to be elite, but considering Thomas is likely approaching the end of his career and at least the end of his contract, there isn't another young goalie in the league, never mind the system, that is a better bet to become a quality starting goaltender. Schneider, Bernier, Lindback, none have the experience or have proved as much as Rask has. If you're going to move him, you better have Timmy locked up for another few years at a reasonable rate and be confident he can perform AND get a boat load in return for 2U's.
As much sh!t as we've given Harvard over the years, he's proved to make the right decisions more often than not. I'm fine if either goes, I'm fine if both stay, and if it's the former I'm reasonably confident PC will be smart about it. |

He wants to be the #1
There comes a time when you have to kick the bird out of the nest to see if he can fly.
Thomas isn't 30.....he's closer to 40. We've seen goalies play successfully into their 40's....Hasek even had a simliar style.
It's a good problem to have, but if it doesn't work out the way you think it will, it can be a disaster waiting to happen. |

(frank)ing "Haggs" still on the White House story like it's an ice cream sundae ...

Pathetic. This porker should be working for TMZ - JS1
I personally liked his "Thomas hates the Bruins because his new helmet doesn't have a B on it" blog better. It has a (frank)ing Bear on it!!! What more do you want?
Maybe, just maybe, he thought Colorado would be a nice place to live. Or hey, maybe his wife actually wanted to live there. Of course it's no fun to actually gather information and write an informed article when you can just wildly speculate without .... you know ... asking the guy.
Anyone else appreciate that his twitter is " Hacks With Haggs"? Somehow I suspect it's purely coincidence as I doubt he's that self aware. |

Supposedly LeBrun has some TT information to be talked about on TSN's Insider Trading tonight. Hopefully it's not more speculation on which state Timmy prefers to do his fishing in. |

Wow ... LeBrun says Timmy may just take a year off. WTF, that would suck, 35+ cap hit plus no Timmy, plus no trade would be worst possible scenario. |

all it might do it delay it if anything, if they do decide to move him |

Bruinsbeer looks forward to following Haggs is a Hack.
I can't wait to read old information about the NHL and find out about medium rare steaks on a nightly basis |

I'll take Paille back at that kind of $ ... Well done, Chiarelli
Damn, gotta think Paille left some bigger $ at the table by not testing free agency ... |

Definitely a good price for him. Didn't think he'd be back with Kelly/Campbell still unsigned and guys like Knight/McDermid/Bourque in the mix at a cheaper price. |
