I can support this, especially if Horton is done.

We need something big in terms of offense. Parise and a top-4 D as priorities and I like our makeup for next season.

There needs to be some kind of mid-level/2nd contract that is capped to bridge the gap between the two, IMO. Nothing wrong with making the big $$, just would like to see more of a progression in getting there.

The last CBA all but eliminated the bridge contract.

I'd like to see a 4-5 million dollar cap for 2nd contracts.

I'm worried about this one with Donald Fehr helping the players. The refusal to sign off on the realignment was a shot across the bow...and not a good sign

Assuming Horton is back:

1. Re-signing most of the free agents. Gone are Pouliot, Rolston, Zanon, Corvo, and Mottau. I'm assuming Hamilton will be in the lineup next season as he is stuck in a Seguin-esque scenario: Too good for Junior but too young for the AHL. I'm also expecting that Krug will be getting his pecker wet in the AHL next season rather than sticking with the Bruins right off the bat.

Zanon, at his current cap hit and assuming a raise on top of that, is not worth the money. Poo fits into some scenarios, but is far from a lock for returning. Paille will likely be gone, and that's fine ... Let him go 1-for-37 on shorthanded breakaways somewhere else
