Can you imagine how good he'd be if he cared?

Maybe he's part Russian?

Apparently Kessel is terrified of a weight room. The Kid, with his natural ability would be a force if he had any ambition beyond collecting a cheque. Maybe when he gets older and richer he will decide he wants to be a winner.

I remember being on the phone with my best friend in the closing minutes. screaming"We just won the f@ck!ng cup" over and over and over again.....then I opend up that 40 somethin' year old bottle of Crown...I still have some left. I'll probably take a shot when I get home tonight.

Happy anniversary my Bruins brothers. that night was awesome!!!

My Dad called me seconds after the Marchand EN goal. He were both relieved that we saw a cup together.

Apparently the Habs #3 pick overall may be in play to Winnipeg for Evander Kane.

Hmmm

Interesting if true

Wonder if they'll send him home to collect welfare like they did with Larque?

Big, physical player who scores 30+ at age 21. Also he knocked out Cooke. I'd rather they not do that and draft Forsberg or Grigorenko.

How much are we banking on Hamilton?

Z Hamilton(Claude always does this with a young guy)
Nazi Johnny B
Wolf Ference

We do need another body. Glad Aids is gone. Zannon and Motteau are likely out the door.

I don't hate it, CBB? Your thoughts?

I would take Zanon back on two conditions....he never, EVER wears #6 again and he takes a significant pay cut. Cant see use banking on Hamilton just yet we need depth back there even if he is ready. I like having 8 NHL ready Dmen on the roster even if the #8 is picked up at the deadline.

(frank) that ...

Guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time, way too many times. I don't care that he was paired with Corvo. So was Wolf or whomever and they got through it without looking like a liability, unlike Zanon.

The audition is over, and the guy's ship has sailed with this organization as far as I'm concerned. Add the fact that he's about 2 million overpaid and will likely be looking for a contract in the same neighborhood .... Yeah, (frank) that.

I'd rather try for a Carlo Colaiacovo type who would cost a lot less, or a Bryan Allen type who is paid Zanon money but is actually worth a (frank) ...

In between KKK gatherings, Panger posted a link on twitter to a mock draft where we picked this guy. Sounds like another guy I'd be happy with:

24. Boston Bruins – (LW) Stefan Matteau – USNTDP (USA)

I would consider him the best power forward in the draft at 6’2 and 215lbs and he still has room to fill out physically. He plays like a bull in a china shop as he bangs and crashes his way though the neutral zone on his way to the net. He is at his best when he aggressive on the forecheck and drives to the net without fear. In saying that his hockey sense and puck skills are good and uses the time and space he creates well in offensive situations. He is a shoot first player and would be better suited on the wing where he has less defensive responsibilities and more opportunity to use his power game. He skates well for size and he should not have any troubles keeping up to an NHL pace once he finishes developing. He is solid defensively while showing hustle and determination chasing down and battling for loose pucks. He is the type of second line complimentary player that every organization is looking for and is a playoff style player.

There are a lot of good sounding prospects slated in the 20's this year. I only watch the memorial cup, and I've all but fallen off of the college hockey map since my move to AZ, so I really don't have an opinion on any of these guys

I just DONT want Malcom Subban

It's a little weird watching former foreign NHL players sons play for team USA.

Per Dreger - Jagr is looking like he'll hit UFA market. He and Ute are buds. Not exactly a perfect fit for a Julien team, but he was better than I thought he would be last year and seemed to have a pretty good attitude.
