I wouldn't hate it. We can only hope Hamilton is a fraction of the player Weber is. Z/Weber is a tonne of $ tied up in your D though.

13 years 98 million is now the STARTING POINT for Weber

Gervais for a third of Zanon or half of Wolf would have been welcome.

horqvist and weber yes

I think I would take Erat over Hornquist. He is probably one of the more underrated players in the league.

without the silly salary, yes
with the silly salary....i would have to look at how it affects nexts years ufa/rfa situation..but i doubt it would work out with lucic, horton, seguin, rask, marchand, ferrence caron..etc. up for new deals

of course, quite a bit of salary would be going back too

add in uncertain cba at this time...

not sold in jersey
google it, look on the page of the company who makes it and see if their is a "distributor" link to see if it's even sold in your state
you can always ask a local liquor store to order you a bottle and they should have it the next day

he's pretty solid for all 200 feet and he's thick.

Probably a fit in the event that Ute went but its all summer hypothetical stuff anyway...

drop the (frank)ing puck.

I'm curious to see how they'll do this year. They've cleaned house and will have a bunch of new faces. No Whodabeen to bail them out though.

Excellent point.

He needs to step it up this year. If not, he's going to be like Dorothy....and unless Sexual Chocolate pans out, our most productive 1st rounders under Harvard will have been the 2 Toronto picks.

Caron's been fine for a late 1st rounder. He's playing solid NHL minutes in just his 2nd year out of JR. I think he can push for 15 goals this year (on pace for 12 last year with a full sched) provided he has a lock on that 3LW spot.

I have him pencilled in there too, but there is no question he's in the weakest position of any of our healthy forwards for next season.

Lucic Ute Horton
Marchand Bergy Seguin
Caron Kelly Peverly
Paille Campbell Thornton
Vet or Kid

Chara Boychuk
Seids Hamilton
Groin Wolf
Krug / Vet

Tuukka
Borat

The 3rd line should be really solid and a lot is hinging on Horton's melon and if he still has scoring touch. Need to get some vet depth at defense and probably a forward. Looks good though.

Definitely the position to upgrade or at least be challenged. I think he's already blown Hammil out of the water in terms of living up to expectations though. If he stays a solid bottom 6 forward with a bit of touch, and ability to PK, not much more you can ask for out of a #25 pick.

I see 3 holes in that line-up

Potentially Caron's play, Hamiltons inexperience, and Horton's health/ability to return to form.

I'd be ok moving Krejci for Yandle and moving Tyler to the top line, and signing Shane doan.....and I'd consider moving Lucic if Bobby Ryan or Pavelski were the return

Looch Seguin Doan
Marchand Bergy Horton
Caron Kelly Peverly
Paille Campbell Thornton

Chara Yandle
Seids Hamilton
Groin Wolf
Johnny B

Agree on potential holes. Not to be a hfboards douche but no way boychuk is 7th dman making $3.5 mm
He's in the top 4 unless they get someone like Yandle.

If not a significant upgrade, I'd like to see a vet dman for insurance. Wonder if they'd take a 1 yr deal on someone like Cam Barker. Can't have too many d bodies.

Would anyone do Bobby Ryan for UTE + prospect (not hamilton/koko/knight/spooner)
or higher pick?

I think Ute/Ryan is pretty even up trade value in my eyes. Ryan gets a boost because of his finish and size, Krejci because he's a C and can PK. Otherwise they produce about the same.

The only thing I worry about trading DK is that you know by week 3 Chris Kelly will be centering our top line and we'll all be female doging about it.
