Take the year before the lockout.

Habs had: Souray, Bouillon, Begin, Quintal, Rivet, Kilger, Komisarek, Langdon, Dwyer. I mean the team could collectively fight.

We could fight well but were so piss poor on the ice it was embarassing.

My favorite team for toughness may have been 2000.

Scott Thornton (one of my favorite players), Corson, Stevenson, Rivet, Bouillon, Asham, Cummins, LaFlamme, Morissette, Quintal

Now it's just a handful of guys

Seth Griffith - 5G 1A in 2 games for the Knights ... supposedly his skating is suspect, but kind of makes you wonder why he was passed over 1 year and fell so far the next. Hopefully turns out to be a steal.

Hope he's not a Radim Vrbata - type who only plays well on 1 team... the team where he's comfortable.

Griffith's test will be next season when he comes to Providence ... Hopefully he can transition his game.

I think it was a size thing. Some of these smaller guys just have the knack for offense. St. Louis, Sullivan, Fleury etc.

It's usually a per-per-view thing directly through the AHL website ... It's like $7 a game or something like that.

They're tough to find for free ... Maybe that will change with no NHL games though.
