I dont understand how players who claim to be part of a brotherhood stab other players in the back by heading over to europe and stealing a modest earning 4th liners job only to flock back when a problem they helped cause finally gets settled. - Cape Breton Bruins
meh. professional sports are about competition not seniority or any right to a spot. If someone better comes along no matter what they take that spot.
even within that same union they take each others' jobs whenever the opportunity comes along.
rene's rum nose must look like a (frank)ing cauliflower ear at this point. holy smokes the dive bars in revere, chelsea and everett must have his bar tab on a short leash. poor guy - salvadorsanchez

ace spa is in a strip mall and next to my dry cleaners
wife says "why the (frank) are they open 23 hours a day, that's why you go to that dry cleaners isn't it"
she will get the occasional random pic from in front of the place and the lit up open sign on her cell
“Dougie was pretty much told toward the end [of the summer] that, you know, there was pretty much a spot on [the Bruins] for him,’’ recalled Williamson. “So Dougie’s attitude really kind of changed — and I don’t blame Dougie for this at all, I think it’s a natural thing — but you know, [emotionally] he really went to the next level. Then all of a sudden the lockout started and he came back and all of a sudden he was indifferent to it. Just for the first week or so. He didn’t want to be in our league . . . he was past it.’’ http://www.boston.com/spo...UFzP8E0mQ3JOHO/story.html

Trotman far and away the best looking prospect in that group ... Defense first kind of defenseman, but has a great knack for getting the puck to the net ... And it's landed him a pile of assists so far this season.
Warsovsky is just too small, and he plays small.
Cross looks ok ... Nothing flashy. Had a rough game last Friday, though. Seems like he still needs to get comfortable at the AHL level to be more effective.
Bartkowski has plateaued at very least ... Maybe even peaked. Time for a change-of-scenery deal where we get someone else's underachiever.
Krug strikes me as very average at the AHL level right now. Being smaller is stature doesn't help that any ...
-----------------------
Aside from Dougie, there's a few longshots (Krug, Trotman, Miller, maybe Cross) ... But that's pretty much it on D.
Don't know much about the Chudinov guy playing in Russia, but from all accounts he seems pretty highly touted.

Bergy and Seguin playing for Canada in Spengler tourney in Switzerland now on TSN2...playing against Seids who is representing Germany...
always liked watching this tourney; fun to watch... - busher
Pretty entertaining game. Seguin and Tavares were the best players for Canada. Spezza too. Thought Bergy was going to bury that breakaway chance in OT for sure.

yeah...I was surprised by the quickness of Tavares...thought Seguin and Bergy played well...thought Spezza had chances, but seemed selfish to me..
