Out west has been good. Thought the Rangers/Caps series wasn't bad. I don't mind defensive hockey. |

Really pulling for LA. Especially if Gagne returns. Always been a fan. |

Mock draft.....
24. Boston - Malcolm Subban
"We like his solid technique that includes quick feet and agile positioning, his stellar reflexes which makes his glove hand very fast and that he can move from post to post with fluidity |

This one has Tom Wilson. RW from the Plymouth Whalers. Sounds like a nasty Jordan Caron.

Sounds like a poor man Looch. Hopefully he doesn't lose his balls like Kassian did when entering the NHL but I'd take him. |

provided its reasonable, i'd love to see kelly back. - salvadorsanchez
He wears an A for a reason
Get him back Harvard....give him the usual 10-15% more than he's worth, and an additional year or 2 on the end of the contract....plus the NTC
does Kelly have a current injury |
|

|
On the Fence about this Kelly thing. Sure I want him back but you just know there is a GM out there willing to give him close to $4m per. Dont want to go over $3m. |
|

The more I read about this Tom Wilson kid, the more I think he would be a perfect pick for the Bruins as a guy to ride shotgun with Seguin in the future. |

Me too.
If Kelly is brought back, we can pretty much kiss the thought of bringing in a new free agent acquisition this summer goodbye. If he'll take under 3 mil, I'd do it. I don't think Kelly has all of a sudden become a regular 20+ goal scorer. I don't go a penny over 3 million, though.... And to get even that high will require some serious thought.

I'd be happy with a 3 year 9-10 million dollar contract.
So Harvard will go 4 years, 15 million, NTC, and he'll wait for Kelly to get injured in a training accident before he signs it
Remember, PC has done a great job in trades, contract negotiations are not his strongsuit |

Well, kelly is 31, has been durable, can play both wing and center and is a good vet presence. Plays a strong two-way game and has shown up in the playoffs and consistently. Sure he'd get more on open market but we'd also be paying more for someone of his skill set on the open market. If he is over-paying anyone I'd rather him than paille, campbell and poo. I dunno, we'll see but yeah anything over $3mm is over payment |

I think we got to resign either Kelly or Campbell. I really would like to sell high on Pouliot and deal his restricted rights. Caron is on line 3 as well as Peverly. Question is is Pevs the other winger or the center. Im starting to go back and forth on Parise if I would go for him. I dont think they will anyway.
I would look into dealing Thomas and I would deal Krejci and move Seguin to line 1 center.
Thomas and Krejci to Chicago for Kane and something else. I know Kane's off ice activity is wild but who cares. Kid is 23. |
