ugly...jeez...he is paralyzed..
Doctors treating Swiss ice hockey player Ronny Keller say he has been left paralyzed by his injuries sustained during a playoff game.
Swiss Paraplegic Centre doctor Michael Baumberger says Keller has sustained "permanent spinal paralysis" by damage to his fourth thoracic vertebra.
Bamberger says in a statement that Keller did not sustain head or brain injuries.
The Olten defender hit the boards head first in overtime of a second-tier playoff match against Langenthal on Tuesday.
Keller was treated on the ice and airlifted by helicopter to the specialist hospital at Nottwil, where he underwent surgery.
Swiss media reported that Langenthal player Stefan Schnyder has been questioned by police, and the hockey league is investigating his challenge with Keller. - busher
yeah, awful result and tough play. he tried to initiate contact before hitting the boards and got plastered.
“We’ve been trying for five years to get him over here and it’s close,” said Chiarelli, who said the move wouldn’t stop him from continuing to explore the trade market. “He’s had a hell of a year and he’s grown into a big strong kid now, a man, and he’s told us that he feels he’s ready now. He’s a good player, big strong player. There are still some steps to go, but it looks good.”
crazy week... Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Florida Washington and Pittsburgh again...5 games in 7 days...fingers crossed on no injuries..7 or 8 points out of a possible 10 would be ok...

should be sour taste with caps, i expect them to be demolished. love to get 3-4 points vs pitt but probably will split that one. florida should be a gimmie and sens should be a tough but winnable game. gotta play hard and not waste opportunities
Kelly with a broken leg. Get on the (frank)ing phone baldy and get some help. Pandolfo sucks balls. - salvadorsanchez
Huge (frank)ing balls.
For the record, Neil meant to do something right there. Sorta like when Groin nonchalantly or "incidentally" hit Halpern in game 7. Was just floating around and could easily have avoided this outcome. Kelly plays the puck with his skate and then quickly braces himself for the extended knee Neil offered while coasting. Karma is indeed a female dog.

Oh come on ... he meant to hit him but there is zero evidence that he tried to get knee there. Starting to sound like a bunch of Habs fans up in here.

Broken leg. Thornton asked him twice to go. Need I say mother(frank)ing more? EDIT:yes.
Neil just keeps injuring Bruins and people here turn a blind eye, just another hockey play. Head on a stick for this scumbag! He should need to watch his back and be forced to fight a different Bruin each game for the rest of his playing days. Kassian now in to relieve the pressure is no coincidence.

Z broke Pacioretty's neck ("allegedly"), you think he meant to do it?
Injuries happen ... this isn't (frank)ing baskteball.
