Definitely like his skill set and he'd look good in B&G, I just don't think he's worth the price tag cap wise or trade wise. - Double_A
I agree. Honestly Nash is pretty hyped up here in Canada but Krejci has proven more regardless of oppurtunity. I think Nash would excel on the B's but I'm not willing to give up Ute and Rask for that contract and the hope everything works out 100%.

Very much hyped, Nash is a good player but I don't see him as elite which is how he's paid. I think he'd be a good fit, but I honestly don't see him producing more here than in Columbus. He'd have more help, but he also wouldn't be the only option, I truly think he's a 60-70 pt, 30-40 goal guy no matter where he ends up. I just don't see him magically putting up 100pts with less ice time.
Definitely think we're better off with Ute and Rask and I'm not even super opposed to moving either one for the right deal.

Someone else can blow their wad for Nash. - Double_A
Meh. I really don't like the hole that trading Ute creates. I just don't think management or Claude see Seguin as a center, at least not at this point in his career and especially not to anchor a #1 line next year which is I assume what the plan would be (unless Peverley is the guy, at which point is Nash really any better off than in Columbus?).
Value wise I don't hate it, but weakening the Center position doesn't seem to fit PC's MO. Plus I'd be surprised if CBus would put big value on Timmy, I know Howson is desperate to save his job, but 1 year of Thomas for a team that probably won't sniff the PO's anyways would be a tough sell.
i don't think ute is a long term b
they supposedly wanted kane from winnipeg at the deadline..per EK, lol
ute would be part of any deal to bring back a top flight guy
But when I saw him live...he did have a different gear that the others on the ice didn't. to be honest, I didn't see that type skill level when I saw Crosby and Malkin live.
I might go for that.....but they will want Tuukka.
he might not be the #1 player i would pick for getting back, and without looking at the cap implications...yes, i do that deal
you are trading a goalie in the last year of his deal that you are not going to resign and a #2 center for a top flight wing
Obviously pure speculation but interesting none the less. Total boner if Timmy fetches Bolland/Beach and a pick. Bolland and Marchand on the same team Might be a little too much d-baggery, but if Clooooode could keep them somewhat in check that would be phenomenal. I'm not huge on Beach, but PC has apparently been after him since his draft year. More likely to be the next Bitz than the next Looch IMO but wouldn't hurt to have another big forward with some draft pedigree in the pipe.

Bolland would be an unbelevible replacement for a potentially departing Chris Kelly. Chicago seems like a sound landing spot if Timmy goes. Obama's hometown and all.
Supposedly this fight happened after Beach made fun of Looch's posture
He's got a rep much like Downie/Kassian did for being psycho which I don't like, been a bit of a disappointment since turning pro too. Still young though, bit of a project but if he's not the core piece of a deal it would be a nice throw in.
