The Vezina I believe he should win because of the stats I posted earlier. Lundqvist is very deserving of the Vezina, I'm not denying that and if he wins I will respect the decision because he is a damn good goalie, but in MY OPINION I believe Quick should take it. I'm not sure why you refuse to discuss the possibility of anyone else other than Lundqvist winning, as it is a very reasonable situation

Lundqvist didn't win or get nominated in 2010-2011 because there were three goaltenders that were clearly better.

This year, Lundqvist and Quick put up near identical stats. Quick was stronger with GAA and SO, they were essentially equal in SV% (difference of .001) and Lundqvist had 4 more wins.

People are pointing out that the wins total shouldn't be what divides the two. That relies too much on total team play and does not always reflect how the goalie played.

I think Quick is definitely more worthy of winning the Hart for that exact reason you pointed out (Lundqvist won't win anyways, I'm sure Malkin has it locked up). I don't believe it should play into voting for the Vezina unless you are insistent upon making wins the deciding factor between the two.

the rangers did that this year and every year since lundqvist has become the starter. Last year lundqvist led the league in shutout and was poo pooed. This year quick leads the league in shutouts and all of suddden he's that har trophy winner. makes no sense.

I like the Rangers, I have just seen Quick play a lot over the season and have a lot of respect for him. I find that players/teams in the west are usually underrated because not a lot of people bother to watch the games.

Its not about your team scoring its about the goalie's play and thats about it.

Lundqvist had a better save percentage, more wins.
if you look at the prior years....it seems these are the 2 stats GM's look at the most when coming up with the vezina winner
