Hank and Quick face in the bottom 5 in shots per game. Same with Elliott and Halak, if anything Rinne, who faces on average of 4 more shots a game should probably be right up there. He also has more wins than Hank and Quick, and very close save % - sbroads24
Neither Quick or Lundqvist have Suter or Weber in front of them. Rinne does.

Someone said of the Rangers earlier this year: "all they ever do is block shots". They have a system that doesn't exactly hang Lundqvist out to dry either.
Could be because some guys named Horton and Chara along with a zebra were between Goose and Lucic.
just sayin' - Purple Eagle
Irony, Vanek created the turnover and loafed his way back. When the hit occurred there was 2 sabres closer and vanek loafed back to lucic quicker then the rest of the team
Goose should have pushed himself free from the ref when lucic was skating to the box
or at the very least gone after him once in the last 44 minutes of the game

My view: Miller wasn't happy with Goose being traded in spite of G's lack of retaliation. Not sure what exactly went on immediately following this hit, but the guy that took the whack didn't blame our enforcer for not getting some payback later in the game.

It's all about the system. I remember earlier in the year watching Hank and saying to myself that he faces no breakaways/ Odd man rushes. Then the Sabres beat the Rangers 4-1 and scored 3 goals on 2 on1's. Hank is great dnt get me wrong, but if you leave your goalie out to dry and let them face 2 on 1's and breakaways all game ala Sabres, your goalie will get beat sometimes.

but there was a good chance Miller thought he was at Disney Land at some point after the hit

That was over the top. Only the last highlight he used (when he didnt pick up anybody in front of the net) was as bad as he made the rest of them sound.

the closest keith jones ever got to the norris is duncan keith winning it
Rangers D are better. Block most shots in the league, top of the league in turnovers, Hank faces 26 shots a game. Rinne faces over 30. - sbroads24
Love how you dont include Sralman and Bickel, both of whom are filling for injured players. And what d core has a norris nominee on it? Not the rangers. Nashville has Weber, Suter, Blum, Gill, Josi, Klein and Zanon. Dont talk at me telling me that Rinne has nobody in front of him.

I dont need any extra incentive to pile on Russian players, I self admittedly have a preconceived bigoted bias (consider it more North American pride). But I'm also not going to go out of my way like Jones did just for the sake of doing it. The games I have watched Radulov I have had no issue with him.

Well both Gill and Zanon arent playing, (zanon is not even on the team anymore)
and the proof is in the facts. Yea Nashville has 2 of the best. They can only play 25 min a game. The Rags have 3 guys who are having all star years. Which brings us back to the facts, most blocked shots, top of the league in turnovers.
