Dissagree on the Rangers if they get passed the Caps.Imo the Flyers are the most talented most skilled team still playing and The Devils and the coaching staff are slamming the door shut at will on them.I dont belive any team in the East can beat them in 7 right now.
- buffalo 1

The Flyers are trying to outgun New Jersey and are failing. The Rangers never try to outgun anybody, which can be to their detriment against higher powered offensive teams like Ottawa and Philadelphia. They'll be able to lock it down against New Jersey.

Rangers have way too many struggles.

IF* they get by WSH, I see NJ taking it in 6. NJ's D will stifle the Rags top lines just like they are doing to PHI.

Coaching staff and impact players edge to Jersey/x factor could be the King tho.Im sticking with the Devils tho even with a shakey looking 40 year old Marty B.If the Devils win the cup I think it will be Marty last season.

In a heartbeat, giving up 2 good prospects and a first hurts a bit. But if you have a chance to get a star then you go for it IMO

I dont agree. Allot of people seem to forget we still have a budding star in Cody Hodgson. He is the kid we need to develop into the number one center he was pegged to be.

As we sit at 12...we are close to being able to potentially draft Gaunce or move up for Faksa for less than trying to get into the top 4 or whatever.

If nothing else, he's be a great practice QB to keep the WR's tuned up.

Ya but Yakupov is a winger, so he wouldnt have any effect on Hodgson besides making him a better center. IMO the Sabres have too many "pretty good" players but no real allstars. This kid could be a legit star in the league and giving up on 2 good prospects and a 12th overall pick is worth the risk.

Hall eberle yak nuge. Pick 3 of those and I'd say they're worth more than
Toews Kane hossa. I think Kane is over rated

Crosby Malkin Staal. It's about even because staals a 4.5-5 mill for me

But with all 4.. And you are going to need a defensive stud who would command ~4.5 mill... Let's hope these are all friendly people

why not go all in for parise, a bonafide star left-winger that will cost no prospects

It would really make for a difficult cap situation

I would be a-ok with this too. Only problem is cap constraints and we'll be in the race with about 20 other teams trying to sign him as well. He'll probably get around 8 mil per year in the free agent market. With resigning Ennis and Myers new contract coming in we just dont have that kind of money unless players are moved.
