bury a player or 2 or move a d man or a zubris contract
if they go to the ECF's, there is next to a zero percent chance the devils let Parise leave for more money now that the devils are back to playing devil hockey - homiedclown
Devils can barely pay the players they have ON the roster, they can't bury anyone, now I will go with they will play with a short roster again, but they aren't burying anyone or buying anyone out

But do u think the devils will be good once brodeur retires?
Since he prob has a year or 2 left,
Why would parise wanna sign there for 6 or 7 years?
I see Parise going to someone like LA or NYR or Vancouver...
Maybe a Detroit or Pittsburgh...
Some of these teams might have cap issues,
But there will be a team out there that gets creative n finds a way to sign him

I'd be shocked if Parise is back in NJ - jdfitz77
I think the Devils have been descent for the last year and 1/2 with slightly above average goaltending
man if the rangers got parise
that could be scary for years

Me too. That bankruptcy issue is a big part of it. There's no way out of it. Who knows where the team ends up. They can't even sell out playoff games. MSG revenue is the only thing going for it.
