Getting by St. Louis as easily as they did really changed my opinion. I don't think Phoenix will be able to get by them. They had a hard enough time with Chicago. Every game went to OT other than the last one.

I read about 1 blog a month.... I come in here for some funny banter.. and good hockey talk. There are some quality bloggers on here... the job should be to create some discussion.. end of story.

I probably read more of Yost's blogs than anyone else's. Sometimes I read Cloutier's, but that's only because I like to see what crackpot idea he has that day. I don't read his for any actual useful information.

The Kings have sure looked dominate dispatching 2 pretty strong teams that play 2 very differnet styles of hockey

if/when they get by Phoenix, I don't see anyone from the eastern conference beating them

of course, it would require pegula and black to create an opening for the gm position (hint, hint)

Enroth with Roy for a number one center. Lets get serious I like the kid but his weakness have been exposed alot like Miller now.Maybe Garth need to spend some time watching the teams still competing for a cup to gauge where we need to get to.Id rather see them trade Miller myself .This teams more then a center away from competing with teams like the Devils and Rangers let alone the Bruins and Flyers.

Jonathon Quick is your answer. Should of been the starting goalie for the US in the last olympics instead of Miller.

if Brian Burke can have multiple high profile assistant GM's , why can't Darcy have one?

he does have , Assistant to the General Manager Mark Jakubowski , but that is not a high profile guy

Some thing to that effect.I lost it when I saw Enroth trade and legit number one center in the same sentences. You get a different perspective after you watch teams like Philly ,New jersey,New York and Washington compete in the playoffs just how far off we are from competeing for a cup in Buffalo.

I will defer to Ken Hitchcock's statements last night

" The King's are playing the game the way you need to play in the playoffs, the way you need to play to win a cup"

watching the King's. I don't know if any of the current Sabres know how to play that way

yeah, forgot about him, bk...

right now the sabres have regier directly under pegula/black/benson/sawyer

black is more of a pr-guy
benson is an old buddy of pegula
sawyer is a consultant

in that context, it would seem as if regier's in charge of the hockey operations

there have been too many members of the Canadian media say that the reason the Sabres failed this year was that Pegula didn't bring in "a Hockey guy" to oversee Darcy

where there is that much smoke there is usually a fire, or a van with Cheech and Chong in it

I haven't watched much Phoenix but it seems they draw their confidence from Mike Smith, and he has been playing great

with the Kings I think you could put Kelly Hrudey in net and they would still dominate

Cheech " How am I driving, Man"

Chong " I think we're parked"

Cheech " Oh, well how am I parking then"
