I can't believe those movies were so long ago , favorite scene was when they had the tarp over the crop and Cheech ripped through and he was pretending to swim while the DEA helicopters flew overhead
those guys were comic geniuses |

they went toe-to-toe with a veteran-laden, defensive-minded florida team and won the decision in 15 rounds...
they're playing an aggressive, flyers-type game better than philly...
to win the cup, you sometimes need to win four different ways |

The one forward Darcy aquired that was worth something. (Not drafted) What are your thoughts on Hogie ?Looked like a player just trying to get thru the season to me not really wanting to be here. |

he's a rookie, most rookies slump at some point just because the NHL is so much more demanding every shift then what they have ever experienced
plus he went from west coast to east coast, trying to get settled in a new city, new country, also we, as fans, know what was being said by the Canucks before the GM said all those things publically, they were probably all being said behind closed door s before the season ended
I thought all things considered he did okay, I think he knows he has something to prove
I do expect alot more from him next year |

I haven't watched much Phoenix but it seems they draw their confidence from Mike Smith, and he has been playing great
with the Kings I think you could put Kelly Hrudey in net and they would still dominate - billyk

Hi. Why didn't we resign Zubrus when we had the chance? He wanted to stay here. Oh that's right, we were good enough.

he's been on a slow development curve...not that he sux or anything like that, it's just, in ohio he was #2 up until last season
a move to the echl for more development before the ahl would be advantageous

Miller/enroth

ECHL or some other teams system: leggio
as much of a great story the kid has been i just dont think the sabres can waste a spot of development for either Knapp or Lieuwen. Unless they start Knapp in the ECHL give him a few games to see how he adjusts then bring him up and cut Leggio.. just don't see it happening though |

Humm. Not optimistic with Darcy s track record on forwards.I hope they dont flash a fancy contract in front of him before we get a full seasons look of him.Maybe if they put him on a line with Foligno and bring them up together for next season.I think the Dman Darcy got in that deal was solid tho and Kassian was a huge dissapointment for a kid who should of been banging bodies left and right trying to make the team |
