Remember when I said I was curious how the Flyers would respond with their backs against the wall facing elimination...well now we will find out haha |

Not saying he will or won't; just surprised they think he should. - gkmkiller
Without question he should be suspended. Puck was nowhere near either player, he clearly targeted the head with his shoulder.
But come on... this the the NHL! Anything goes! |

WTF is wrong with the Flyers. Are they just emotionally spent from the pens series? |

Supposedly G has a pulled groin. And Hartnell a broken foot. But who knows. The whole bunch seems to be lost in the woods, now. Except, oddly enough, Bryz.

Jonesy says since Zubrus had his head down that it won't get a suspension. The fact Giroux launched UP with his shoulder into Zubrus' head instead of IN to Zubrus' body is meaningless. - gkmkiller
He should be suspended for that, but i can't see it happening. Head shot on an unsuspecting player and from the blindside imo.

Please. Anyone could see that Giroux was only protecting himself. Astounding the backward step the league has taken over the last six months regarding headshots. Unless you put your own head on a tee like Raffi Torres.

NBC telecast mentioned Jagr saying the same thing, just more eloquently. Hard to believe after they dismantled Pittsburgh in round one.
Every year the playoffs = the unexpected. |

Yea...that is the beauty of it. Look at the Kings out West.
But if I saw the Rangers giving this type of an effort, I would be livid to. |

Just them chanting "hey you suck" after they score, they went straight into a Flyers suck chant, they've become and embarrassment for the NHL - HankdaTank
Uh half the team does that chant. Nashville did it during the handshake line against Detroit.
And Philly and NYR fans chant Crosby sucks. It's sports. |

I know it looks bleak, but don't give up hope yet. You guys certainly have enough firepower to come back in this series, and Mr. Universe is playing well. All it takes is one game for the floodgates to open and get the confidence back.
Keep the faith! |

Hartnell and Jagr both essentially said they thought they were going to steamroll NJD before this game.
Not the mentality you need to have. |

If he has no priors the first is usually just a fine. - powerhouse
Oh and of course Zubrus is fine too. Injury is necessary while intent to injure is irrelevant and I think that's one area the league needs to fix in this. |

I was out with my dad for my birthday. I didn't watch the game and will not be doing so now. I can't say it matters whether he's suspended or not though. There's, from what I hear, one guy showing up now and interestingly, it's Bryz.

I find it so odd to use that as the goal celebration. Why not celebrate? Why concentrate on the other team? |
