Wow that Grioux hit did look bad...the puck was no where near Zubrus when he hit him. He might be suspended for that. Espeically since he was female dogging with the ref the whole way up the ice prior to laying that hit. You could tell he was just trying to take out his anger.

I think there's a 50/50 chance Giroux will be suspended for that one. Ovi's you knew right away they would never suspend a superstar in the playoffs for that borderline dirty hit.

Supposedly G has a pulled groin. And Hartnell a broken foot. But who knows. The whole bunch seems to be lost in the woods, now. Except, oddly enough, Bryz.

With all this talk about a Kings/Rangers final earlier in the thread, slow down fellas, I know it was started by a Kings fan but man...big game tonight, I am just now getting past game 4...halfway to work I felt like i have let it go, I just hope the players get off to a big start, blitz Holtby and jump out to a quick lead...

I thought the Giroux hit was worse to be honest, at least the puck was in the vicinity with the OV hit. Giroux was incensed from the previous non call back the other way & it seemed to effect what would be the viciousness of his hit on Zubris.

I say the Rangers set the tone by challenging Ovie...not run him, nothing dirty but a challenge, if the NHL isn't going to take a stand then the team has to...just like ehat happened when they stood up to Neil...Prust, Rupp, someone challenge him...he wants to leave his feet fine, there has to be a consequence, Callahan's quote was telling yesterday, how there is no hatred this series...just a thought...

Yep, we all have to move on. I am so sick of the b!tching about calls & non calls, enough already! The officiating has been at an all time low but it is discussed far too much.

Just play the game. I didn't think it was that big a deal & its OV, their best player, NO way he fights anyone & risks sitting for 5 minutes & another Cap would jump right in, no way they let their franchise get in a scrap.

He doesn't even have to fight...just send the message, somehow...I just think the Caps are little too comfortable, theye are getting more and more ice, the Rangers need to restablish who they are, we all thought they would just go play game 6 in Ottawa and they went out of their way to go after Neil, I know he is their star but he isn't a star that is passive like Gretzky, he mixes it up and gets his nose in there...

We all want to engage Crosby when he pulls his crap, why can't we do the same with OV, its not going to get him off of his game but it might spark our own...

I still feel good about the team, I think being so cranky after the game on Saturday is a positive...
