Forget the fact that there should be tougher grades.

When a team that was solidly in a playoff spot undergoes a total and complete collapse, then at least half the players on the team deserve a fail.

- GoneFullRetard

I have posted a few times that I have 5 players with a passing grade.

I don't know man, Vokoun's numbers were actually pretty much in line with his career average, he was 2.51 and .916 with Washington this year.

I want a fix, but the price I'm willing to pay is continuing to look for one rather than take on that contract. Even if we roll the dice with Reimer and Scrivens, if they do well then we're happy, if they don't, we collect another draft pick. I'm not even a huge tank nation guy by any means, but I'd rather that than sign up for ten years of Luongo. If Luongo was 28, by all means. But who's to say he's good for more than four years even? Even a guy like Belfour, his last year with the Leafs he just all of a sudden SUCKED. Imagine if he was on contract for another five years at a five million cap hit?

- Zezel

No no, you don't understand...

Luongo is GUARANTEED not to play the last 4 years of that contract.
Luongo is GUARANTEED not to have deterioriating skills in the 6 years.

He is exactly what the Leafs need

Heopfully Burke is smarter than that and takes a pass.

Hopefully ownership fires him so he doesn't even have the responsibility of having to make that decision.

Yeah I never saw your post but I saw references to it...

I would say Kessel, Lupul, Gardiner, Grabo and Bozak or Brown.

Brown is a useful 4th liner. Bozak should never have been a 1st line center, but did OK, I guess.

Everyone else is a fail.

Schenn and Connolly were the most colossal fails, followed closely by Komi and Phaneuf (for complete and utter lack of leadership on this team).

Very close, I had Bozak right on the borderline, I had Frattin in there, mainly because the effort he gave every game he played.

He gave a good effort, but didn't Frattin put up the lowest shooting percentage of any athlete involved playing any sport as a member of any race on any planet at any time in the history of the universe?

Dr. Charlie Huddy had better hands than Frattin does.

Which means Frattin is only about 2134123497987243 times as useful as Colborne.

I expect Frattin to have a solid year next season.

If Kulemin gets traded, I see Frattin taking his place.

And a couple people think Burke trades for Chris Stewart since his value is low and St.Louis scratched him a few games in the playoffs.

a Stewart-Grabovski-Frattin line would be awesome imo.

8.7%.

Still better than Lombardi, Kulemin and Armstrong.

My avatard, JBold's avatard and Sofa King's avatard set an appropriate ambience for a Leafs thread.

I better see Frattin and Kadri in the lineup next season, not much more to really add to that.
