Its been discussed that Pegula will invest $120,000 of his own money, to pay for such things as new sod, other landscaping products , services, and the necessary labor to pay the man power. The City of Buffalo owns the adjacent lots.

Naw, that new area they've done up near the arena has held up nice. Its too for for the lower west side kids or east side kids to get over there and vandalize without getting caught. Its really peacefull and quiet. Plus with the Police camera's they can dispatch cars quickly if things start to look dicey.

I was super impressed with the water front for The Tragically Hip concert last summer. Great potential moving forward.

Knowing Buffalo though, it'll get bogged down in "environmental review" or they'll make a claim that the asphalt there now is historic, and two years from now that $120k will have bought us some potted plants in front of the arena.

No this is all done and done. Mr Higgins and company have all the I's dotted and T's crossed. Contruction currently underway. We should be skating on the new canals before Sabres games this December/January.

It has been put on hold for some kind of review or study that will not be completed till january of 2013. Heard that this morning .
