I hate when we get a pp, kills our momentum so badly. I actually like when we're on the pk.

We got a PP when we looked dreadful and they were playing well. Our power play has looked better for most games this season, in game five, they didn't try to score on Rupp's double minor or Hagelin's minor.

As soon as the 2nd goal for the Rangers was scored, I was just watching and waiting for the equalizer. Kind of knew it was coming. I also thought with how well they were pressing we had no chance after they tied it. Glad I was wrong on that.

The Rangers made outstanding adjustments to their game. They were getting pucks out of their zone using the middle of the ice, which negated the Devils forecheck. They were smartly dumping the puck just out of Marty's reach instead of throwing it in where he could start the outlet plays. It seemed like poetic justice winning one where the other team dominated after the Devils lost 2 games when they carried the play.

Game 6 should be a great one. There's blood in the water. Let's Go Devils!!!!!

I was having flashbacks of the FLA game, i knew no lead was safe. And to be up by that much that early in the game had me nervous as well because the Rags had plenty of time to come back. We were lucky to still be up by one after the second; i think we would have been in trouble if we went into the third tied or down.

For a good laugh I went to the Rangers blog and slowly watched the progressions of Angry, Happy, Angry..haha It made me smile. After the Devils went up 1-0 they were already saying it was game over. I really hope we close it out Friday. I dont want a game 7 in MSG.

The Devils just won two in a row with the new version of the lines, I doubt any personnel changes will happen next game. You can't break up the 4th line, which limits DeBoer's flexibility. Elias looks to have more pep to his game back at LW without the more strict defensive assignment at center.

And Josefseon has been all over the ice. He looks really good. He had a few chances last night but was solid in his own zone as well.

Yeah no chance Jo or anyone else goes to the press box unless there is a serious injury. Gotta finish em off on Friday its no good letting a team hang around any longer then you should. A few PP goals would go a long way in driving the final nail in the coffin.

Probably JJ. Besides not scoring i thought the benching of Sykora was more to get him rested and more hungrier going deeper into the playoffs and for JJ to get his feet wet in the playoffs.

Sykora had been terrible. And you don't use those tactics in the playoffs, that is for the regular season. You put out who you think will give the team the best chance to win. That is Josefson not Sykora.
