I thought they would before the Mem Cup. I've been a fan for a while, seeing London as much as I do. Ryan will likely go around the 4th round, and Matt will be a late selection (6-7 round?).

Could potentially slip. The problem with all the forwards in the 20-40 range are that they're all "character forwards" like Samuelsson, Sissons, Kerdiles, Laughton, Matteau, Bozon, Vail, etc. so it's really a "which guy do teams prefer" type of situation.

This is one of those drafts where picks will be so off the board if you go by the consensus lists.

Wouldn't touch him until the 4th round, IMO. He'll likely go in the 3rd or 4th. Know too much to think he'll ever put it all together.

That being said, he was very good last night. First time I've said that since October.

I seem to always like the Blues picks. Perron, Oshie, Schwartz, Tarasenko, Pietrangelo, Rattie. I expect them to hit another home run.....bastards.

hey Huddle i posted this on the last thread of yours, but i figured i'd do it again because that one was a bit older.

if staal is traded to MIN, CAR, or CHI and we get either the 7th, 8th, or 18th pick and still have our pick at 22...

1. would Guance and Wilson still be there at 18 and 22
2. if we get one of the top 10 picks, who would the penguins be interested based on the assumption that Shero drafts the best player available.
