Very true. I think Bernier might be the guy heading out in a trade now. - stveshdy
I believe Quick is going to be an UFA, certainly will help his bargaining position with a Cup win and he should be the Conn Smythe winner if the Kings win. I can't see how Dustin Brown would be considered more important to the Kings then Quick has been in this playoffs. |

they still have ersberg, whom many wanted to trade carter for, so they have that going for them...which is nice. |

i wonder if the kings asked not to be given any pps, given how many penalties the debs have gotten away with. and it was NOT as good non call on parise, should have been called |

And Vezina - Giroux_Is_God
he'll get the smythe. not the vezina. and i don't say that because he isn't deserving, i just feel CSP is the sexy east coast choice. |

your flyers goalie term is probably "disappointing". - hammarby31
screw it, he's quick
My Flyers term has shifted to a head shake. I love whenever we get a new guy because "This is it, finally!". I give the benefit of the doubt to a fault, I exaggerate saves that would otherwise be routine. My friends look at me like Im nuts. I do everything I can to convince myself that we indeed have our man because I want it to happen so badly. I do think Bryz can be that guy, he's showed abilities that fall along both sides of the spectrum, but I tend to latch onto the good stuff like a newborn on a teet. |

if you're the kings do you have your players sleep in hotel rooms, give the other team last line change and try to import devils fans for games 3 and 4? |

I always thought it should be Quick though. He carried the Kings. For 6 months they couldn't score more than 3 goals... |

It's amazing that if they win this game tonight they are undefeated on the road during the playoffs (I believe). |

they've had a handful of guys that showed moments of looking like they could be the guy, going all the way back to boucher. but they've just never quite pulled it off, and after 2-3 years they move on to the next one. sometimes a draft pick, sometimes a free agent, some times an undrafted guy. bryz has the ability to perform as a top goaltender in this league, although i'm not a fan of the way he plays exactly. the flyers are banking on that. a lot. even if you have "the guy", it's not guarantee you'll win a damn thing. look at lundqvist. this was finally the first year since his rookie season in '06 where he's had a real "team" in front of him. and they still lost in the conference final.

ok thanks, just looking at possibilities the Flyers could trade for defense. Is Keith Yandle worth trading a JVR or Voracek to get? I think he is and I think the Flyers have a shot at him because of the development of Larsson and other young d-men the Yotes have in the pipeline.
As the draft gets closer, I have little doubt the Flyers are going to give up assets to acquire a top pairing d-man. |

Anyone have interest in Stoll as an UFA? Solid center who can win draws and plays well in his own end. |

I'm a fan of Yandle others dont like his game. I think hes the type of guy the Flyers could use at the point. |

And he used to play point on the PP I think? I wanted him at the trade deadline, in hindsight Im grateful they didn't do it because I like the young guys. Id certainly look at him, I just wouldnt even begin to think who goes. |
