who is that between subban and murray?
- ALEDDO

Forsberg. I barely recognized him during Don Cherry's thing until he said his name.

I just love the idea of him and PRV on a line together, my friends being the classic oilers homer thinks this is waaaay to much of an over payment and suggested "omark and our first for landeskog" in which i replied with a smack upside his head. At the end of the day i think Oilers do this trade and Avs don't.

Hard to say -Hemsky and Yaks could be like 40-60+ goals per season combined for Landeskog who is a physical presence and leader but will never pass 35 goals IMO...

Both you and Laughs have very valid points. Stats aside I think anyone that watches Oiler hockey on a regular basis realizes what Sam brings to the table every night. He battles hard and makes plays. He has gotten so much better in the last 2 years in his own end it's crazy. I hope Sam is here to stay. I also think if we see him in the playoffs he will be a beast. One of those players that just gets it done when the season is on the line. For what the media perceived value of him is I wouldn't trade him. People go crazy when I compare him to Logan Couture but as far as age and stats go Sam is younger more proven and is at the very least an equal talent. This should be Sam's year to break out. If he nets another 50 I'll be happy but if he is ever going to be a 70 pt guy this is the year he needs to do it.
- Oilersforlife

I agree. I could care less really if he ends up a 70 point guy but anyone who watches him can see his improvement off the puck. At the beginning of the season he wasn't scoring but was playing well in other areas in the middle of the season he had some huge point games but the few games where he was steady offensively and defensively were what was really impressive to me.

whaaaat, seriously? Forsberg is listed as 6'1, same as murray and gally is listed at 6'2. yet he seems taller than both of them.

Hahaha. Yeah, I think Forsberg is more 6'2.5", Gally 6'0", Murray 6'0.5".

That looks good on paper... Lots of ifs there... If we can get 75 games out of Hall that would definitely help... I saw a golf charity photo with the nuge in it... (frank)ing kid looks like he lost weight... Geez you would think he would be devouring chicken wings and protein so he does not hurt himself on the ice again... I am concerned about that kid... Hall's wrecklessness- we could really get killed if we do not add some beef on this team soon...

Rundblad also wasn't very close to being an impact player at the NHL level, and he also didn't blow the doors off in the AHL, so maybe the Sens didn't overpay the way most thought they did.
- Jack-artist

Again, it was based on potential. Hype or not, he was maybe the most highly touted guy outside the nhl. At least For defencemen anyways.

I dont even understand why subban is in the pic, its like the top 5 prospects and then a goalie who is projected to go late first/second round. Some scouts dont even have him as the top goalie prospect.

Disagree. Pretty obvious someone there stole his tie.

Pretty obvious who it was too.

I don't know if adding beef isn't going to suddenly make Hall less reckless, or Nugent-Hopkins gain weight. Speaking of which, RNH needs to address his leg strength and core strength more than just gain weight.

Cause eating chicken wings is a sure fire way to prevent injury.
