Haha same here, although I think it's mostly because I used to act good outside of my house when I was really young so people thought I was mature. Now I just don't care anymore.

You're also forgetting about Cam Fowler, who was supposed to be one of the top picks, and fell rather inexplicably... and is proving that he should, in fact, have been in the top-3, as was initially expected.

Theres a few others from that draft class that may be great but haven fully developed yet either... Gudbranson etc.

Its tough to say how murray will be, but my point is he will probably be a good defender yes, but not that WOW defender like suter, weber, doughty, karlsson, etc... Edmonton has many ways of acquiring defenders and has different routes they can take. They won the lottery and they take the best player available and thats yakopov. Unless there is a dominant defender who gets like 90 pts in 60 games(just an example, sarcasm), by all means select him first overall. Edmonton will acquire their defenders, in due time, right now you build your team with the best selection to take.

Schenn is a leader on the ice, can hit, can fight, and will be dominant come playoff time, his shut down mechanism isnt at its finest as it should be, but will come in due time.

Suter is one of the greatest defenders who makes weber that much better. Suter practically always bails out weber when he makes mistakes, now that is a shut down defender who defends excellent and acquires alot of points helping his team

Im not saying teams shouldnt waste their time on murray, im saying yakopov is clearly the better choice to take as #1, despite that BS of Edmonton needs a defencemen scenario, they will get defencemen but you dont select murray over yako. Edmonton will get their defence straight in due time and like i said they have the assets to complete deals through hemsky, gagne, MPS, etc

K 1st of all vancouver and edmonton has just as good a shot at schultz. On our team he would play top 4 and near his hometown which he says was a huge factor for him. Also kings have said bernier is staying they want to keep the same team. We didn't ask for gardine rhe is to expensive because of his WOW FACTOR
