Are they any improvement on either of the two guys the Leafs already have? I don't know if Luongo's value went up, but Burke's leverage has been chipped away over the last week or so. What is TO willing to give up for Bobby Lu?

1. player must be rumored to be going to Toronto
2. player signs/get traded somewhere else 99.99% of the time

Understand. But the pressure has come from teams signing the available goalies primarily as backups. It is merely a numerical thing, nothing has really changed as a result of all theses signings.

There are still options. If the Leafs are going to overpay for a goalie they'd be better off overpaying for Halak.

It's the contract. It's like dating a supermodel with herpes. Still uber hot, but you'll never feel clean again.

Lou would help the leafs bigtime. He's a goalie that does better with less defense, like he did in FLA, and like Cujo. Cujo excelled in EDM and TOR, but not detroit, the better defensive system.
