Is Hedberg available UFA? At this point, I'd be happy if Burke signed either Hedberg or Clemenson to a 1 year deal, just to give a little veteran insulation for Reimer and Scrivens. Luongo, imo, is a mistake, a very big mistake. Burke is in a huge hole and I really don't see any miracles happening in the next couple weeks.

I agree, it does not make sense for the Leafs who are looking for a starting goalie. But that is not the case for a team with a longer term perspective. Lehner could be a big chip, for example, in an offer for Nash or Ryan.
