They haven't had a 2nd-rounder since 2007 when they moved up to grab Kevin Marshall. PK Subban went two picks after that. Simmonds was also a 2nd-rounder from that year.

As much grief as he took here during his 2nd stint as GM, he made many more good trades than bad.

The difference isn't HUGE but with a hard cap ceiling every bit counts.

wasnt leighton the best goalie in the ahl last year, i never had an issue with him being a back up

HockeyBreak did say the Flyers are interested in Anaheim's 6th and that voracek is in play. I like Voraceks potential better than Jvr's and would be sad to see him go
