That's pretty rich coming from Philly. Guarantee if the shoe is on the other foot its no different.
Its really nothing personal, we just don't like you. Kid just got a nice into to the rivalry. - Emperor Filonius
just think it's horrendous to boo a an 18 year old kid who's not even signed. nothing personal, we just don't like you? that's rich. don't worry. the feeling is mutual. |

I have no clue about this kid. But do you look to draft a 3rd/4th liner with the 20th Overall pick in the Draft? I would hope he has more upside then that. - MJL
Totally agree MJL, there was talent available there and passed over for no reason. |

and that's where you find those guys, in the 1st rnd? - isaiah520
It's def a head scratcher but... I suppose they figure their top 6 is nailed down for the forseeable future and don't have enough 3/4 guys. I'm just speculating. If anything makes me think more than ever there's another move to be made. |

flyers have a pretty good track record taking forwards in the early 20s, i wouldnt be so quick to trash this kid. how many of these guys have most of you actually even seen play? - FlyerMike18

They aren't booing the kid, they are boing the Flyers. He's going to be a millionaire some day. I think he'll get over it. |

Thats my thought. Why are we worried about adding a third line center who wont be here until Briere is gone. The Flyers will probably add another center by then. |

I doubt very seriously Joe, that if they viewed this kid as a 3rd/4th line player, that they take him with that pick. They undoubtedly see him as being far more then that.

I don't mind the pick, you had to think they'd go against the grain of defense even in a year it's the deepest in round 1 |

Maybe with Coots eventually sliding into the second center position, they didn't want Coots always have to be playing against the other team's top centers all the time. My hunch is they want this kid to take on some of those responsibilities. |

It's obvious the booing threw off Homer and drafted a kid that will be in a beer league in three short months years. |

Im not really sure it mattered who put in on. It could have been a kitten singing Ave Maria in a helium voice and they would have booed the sweater. |
