I like the thought on CGY taking Girgensons, but would be fine if CGY swapped their 1st for buffalos 21st and a 2nd (41st)

Then CGY could take Sissons (would love to say Thrower but too early still) and Subban in the 2nd round.

They need Size in the RW and a goalie prospect. Fills their cupboards more then a Center that won't play right away.

But if Girgensons could crack the line up, then its worth taking him

To me it would be so hard to guess where he will land, so who do you trade down to? Anything past the Leafs #5 pick is so sketchy as I see him #6 and possibly even in the top 5 if teams value size more than other attributes.

I'd have less of a problem with that than skipping on Yakupov to take Murray. But IMO they should take Yak, and I'll be very disappointed if they don't.

Didn't someone get one of those "didn't sign a first round pick, so you get another one after the first round" things? Like Phoenix with Wheeler?
