Voracek and probably Mez + Picks probably. Anaheim apparently wants a legit Defensemen. Might do it for Bourdon & Voracek + but I don't know. The rumors are they asked for Coburn and either Schenn or Coots. I would NOT do that deal.

They both are.....Espescially Ryan, I think the longer they keep him the more comments he makes, teams are willing to pay less for him. His stock was way higher before his comments. Keep on going Ryan! At this rate Anaheim will be happy for a bag of pucks and a cheesesteak.

2) Carle & Jagr are re-signed

3) A d-man and grinder are signed via FA (they'd have around $8 milion to work with if the above were to occur and Jagr is signed for around $3 mill)

Luke Schenn is a bottom 6 guy now. He has the potential to be a top 4 shutdown with offensive upside. Hits hard, plays hard, can score. Leadership qualities.

JVR is a 20 goal scorer with potential to get to a 30-35 power forward Potential. Big man defensively reliable and can skate well for a man his size.

Both are valuable, but more valuable to the teams they got traded to based on position and need. Both have shown flashes of what they could become.

I think him refusing to get surgery on his hip will hinder him next year. If that happens Toronto fans will rip him apart...they are worse than we are. As far as the trade goes i think it was even for both teams.
