They should've been scared about Pronger's contract. It was absolutely absurd.

Personally, I was then, and am still worried about Breeze's years. Another bad decision, one not made objectively.

Honestly, I am optimistic about Bryz moving forward. Obviously not through the ful length of the deal but I am definitely optimistic that he will be a solid goalie for us for the next 5 years or so.

let's ask ourselves today, are the major moves we see today by homer going to bring us closer to a cup now or in the near future? if the answer is no or very unclear, I say don't make the move.

I'd like to see this Garrison guy come in if he can provide some of the puck moving ability lost if Carle goes elsewhere. He's obviously a bit risky though

Jason Garrison is intriguing, curious to see what he gets & from where

That would be a smart decision. Add a vet like Salvador for a year or two.

Yea, I mean the Flyers have done a very good job acquiring d-men via trade.

I am 100% on board with going after a guy like Ryan or Parise this offseason and signing a veteran d-man. Would be nice to acquire a d-man but I don't think this market is ideal to do that.

27 years old, had a real nice offensive output last season... that would be interesting

Prust and Talbot would be great on a line together

And he has size, another facet of his game that can attract interest.

I think Scott Hannan would be cheap and play good along with Mezzy

I'd be interested in Salvador, but on the cheap. He played way better in the playoffs than he actually is.

We dont need players like that.

Guys that perform their best when it counts is something I would avoid

They've acquired ALL their top end d-men via trades. That's been their problem since year one. They can't pick and grow their own top two.

Totally AGREE!!

I love Prust, can play on the PK as well, signing him can help to create another forward going out in a package.

As long as they acquire them, it is not a concern for me. Especially considering they have gotten many of them in lopsided deals. Actually, all of them but Schenn.

yeah, with an over inflated cap & small market teams, it's all possible to steal away talent

The Flyers have gaps; 1-2 wingers, 1 defenseman, 1 backup goalie... They have money (cap room)... I'd be upset if they didn't fill some of those gaps today. I'm not sold on the idea of any major trades.
