Totally AGREE!!
I love Prust, can play on the PK as well, signing him can help to create another forward going out in a package. - puckhead17
How is Prust defensively?
Prust-Couturier-Talbot?
Shut down central. |

Someone tell Homer about the 20% discount sale beginning next week and keep his wallet at home. Sign a backup goalie and watch from the sidelines |

They've acquired ALL their top end d-men via trades. That's been their problem since year one. They can't pick and grow their own top two. - 77rams
i'm too lazy to do the research but it would be interesting to see how many of the top 2 D on each cup team since the lockout were homegrown. |

I would actually be okay with Leighton at the league minimum. |

We dont need players like that.
Guys that perform their best when it counts is something I would avoid - Daman
Because that is what I meant.... but lucky for me we have someone nearly as brilliant as 2real to point it out. |

Solid, he plays on a PK unit for them, forechecks like a madman, that would be a great signing, he could also play on a line with 2 top forwards and compliment them in a fill in role |

If they need to sign Leighton at the minimum to have just enough cap space to do something big, they'll do that rather than sign a guy for 1.1M per year or something. |

The more I look into this Jason Garrison guy... the more I am thinking he is a tremendous alternative to Carle. I had never even heard of the guy before but a quick search of what kinda player he is... I would like that signing...
Blocks shots, hits and has offensive skill...
I'm in. Depending on price of course. |

The Flyers have gaps; 1-2 wingers, 1 defenseman, 1 backup goalie... They have money (cap room)... I'd be upset if they didn't fill some of those gaps today. I'm not sold on the idea of any major trades. - leon neon
I'm more than ok w/ minor moves at this point. if he still had JVR, he'd have more trade chips, but that's over. |

Why? Where does it say anywhere that just standing pat wins you a cup? I see a lot teams do nothing and not make the playoffs. |

could jiri hudler play with G? Hes a sniper right? - aosplayo
25 goals (25 assts.). Detroit plays a similar style that Lavy wants to play. I'm starting to think this should be the key on picking up new players... Make sure they can / or are motivated to play Lavy's system. |

With the way Couturier was out there shutting down the best players in the NHL, if you can get him another winger who is good defensively and plays a physical game... them as a third line could be invaluable to this team. |

There is always a round 2 to free agency where teams move pieces around. Do you really want Carle at $5.75 for 6 years? |

2 minutes away. What's great about being a Flyers fan. They normally get all their shopping done within the first 2 hours (I'll even go as far as saying, first hour). |
