good line, with a 40 year old Koivu?
his cap hit is in line, pretty close now, after the "Wild UFA adventure" boosting the market - puckhead17
I thought he plays with Getzlaf and perry. |

Ryan spent more time with Getzlaff and Perry over the past few season than with Koivu |

Read, MAB, Prospect, 3rd Rd pick 2013, 3rd Rd pick 2014.
What was your current offer again? Not being picky just might of misunderstood what you were saying, sorry! - stveshdy

He was with koivu a lot as well, 2nd PP unit for balance, when they move Teemu up |

The games I've seen, some, he's on the 2nd line frequently, not always, 2nd PP unit & all especially. |

I would do that deal.
If I'm Anaheim I would like a 1st rounder one of those years.
Thats not a bad trade proposal though. |

Lack of depth would hurt the production, they've been short a decent forward or 2 for a while |

Why is Briere still on this team? |
|
|
|
It's a starting point, but it really would help both sides. A lot of people have indicated that 2013 is a deep draft, so if they have to part with a 1st I'd make it 2014.

Bobby Ryan just publicly ripped his GM. He has a rep as a sometimes lazy defensive player, who could work harder. He didn;t get along with a coach that led his team to a Stanley Cup championship.
I think if Semin's name was Dave Smith he'd have signed a 6 year, $42mm deal by now. - Jsaquella
I would totally accept that offer btw...where do I sign? |

yea I'm not taking the bait on that but saq answered that for you - JoeRussomanno
He doesn't play any defense though. All the goals he scores he gives up more when hes on the ice, right? |

People would have been OK with Parise's cap hit. The issue with Nash is, the assets traded plus the cap hit. - Jsaquella
I would like to see Nash paired with Giroux over anyone else discussed here (Parise, Ryan, Semin, Doan). Hartnell - G - Nash would be awesome to watch every shift.
But you are right..... I am not willing to pay the price Columbus is asking. It's not the salary.... it's the assets. |

Do people that complain about Briere not watch the playoffs or something? Or do they just blame him for throwing the team on his back and getting us a later pick? |

yes he does these things, but often enough the play is going back the other way with the puck going into the net, while he gives a half-a$$ effort on the back-check. That poop gets you killed in the playoffs. |
