yeah, the ice was pretty much tilted one way after the first game - puckhead17
I still cant get over how the Flyers struggled to get the puck out of their end of the ice. It was almost embarrassing to watch as they couldnt even get a shot on goal for almost a period. |

yes they do, as well as the goalie, (sometimes if warranted), Briere's lack of D, acquiring Nash, or Ryan, etc........ - puckhead17

the thing with the goalie is you guys just come out and say he sucks then go on to act like he's the worst thing to happen to us since Leon Stickle. I just think you guys are little too harsh I guess. Especially since it was his first year and the team really doesn't play two hockey game in and game out. Next year, I personally revoke some easy pass on Bryz, he knows what he's up against and can't come unprepared to class. |

Hand it to NJ, they really adjusted to what works
You want to speak of tweaking systems, how about that "shot block happy mess" in New York by torts. to the extreme |

Funny thing is Bryz said he was prepared for Philly and that he could handle the pressure. However, during the season he looked like a player who was mentally defeated at times. I like Bryz and I think the Flyers did the right thing by getting him. As much as we blame the team defense Bryz needs to improve also. He just didnt live up to expectations this season, I agree with the GM. |

No, I never came out & said "he sucks", but when a bad game or string of bad games or clowning around after playing poorly, etc, plus I hated the contract, more so than anything, I need to see if he can accept the pressure of playing n a market that gives a damn. When he played great in March, I wanted to last, & thought, this is what we're paying for, this is why he's here. |

It really just grinded the team down. The Flyers D was swiss cheese the whole playoffs. It's amazing that Pittsburg's was just worse.

I'm not too sure what the expectations where when you consider the fact the guy finished the season below his career goals against and a little below his save %. I don't know how to take him saying he was ready for playing here, how the heck would he really know until he lived it for a season. I think he thought so but realized what he thought and what the deal really was were two different things. He did look defeated at times. Thing that endeared me further to him was he picked himself up off the mat and finished strong. Then the damn foot chip fracture, not like someone mentioned starting to rest him down the stretch or anything cough cough |

Pitt didn't back check at all, and it wasn't just our D against NJ, our forwards were still caught up in the offensive series prior, leaving the zone too early etc. |

The chip fracture killed all his momentum. Before the injury he was like a human wall. I thought they had a great chance to go to the finals but then he gets hurt in warm-ups, unreal. |
