Offer sheet both O'Reilly and Oshie?

Do we have 2 first round picks in each of the next how-ever-many years to surrender to the Avalanche and the Blues?

Don't quitcher day job, Garth, and stop insulting the intelligent hockey fans of this team with your childish NHL12 on XBOX mentality.

I think Sekera is much more highly regarded in the league than he is in Sabres chat rooms. Also, St. Louis only has 6 NHL Dmen under contract right now, one of which struggled last year as a rookie (Ian Cole), and one of which struggled after being traded to the Blues last year before going down with a concussion (Russel). Sekera is exactly the type of Dman that that team is built around, i.e. heady, smooth skaters. It's not that crazy an idea.

i never said he wasn't highly regarded.. he has sick trade value, i just dont think they are looking for a Dman like sekera, whether they only have 6 under contract or not..

the avengers was amazing.

2nd highest grossing movie in USA Box Office history with 613M.. Avatar is at 730M but it did two releases so that is kind of cheating if you ask me... just like how Titanic did the same thing..

Both of those movies came out in 3D which is almost twice as expensive as a regular movie or Imax..

The Dark Knight Rises is not in 3D.. and it is still predicted to be able to beat atleast The Avengers. .and come close to Avatar.

Because the Avalanche will match anything that the Sabres offer for O'Reilly. He's good, but he's not worth the dollar figure contract that would give up 4 first-round picks.

..... Ohhhhh so you've never seen it.. but decide to judge it that it would have bad acting just because it involves a "comic book character"

got it.

OK, so in the interest of being honest, I did watch most of the one that had Liam Neeson in the beginning. We were with friends and I was just being hospitable.

Bale's performance was laughable although I usually enjoy him as an actor. And don't even get me started on the storylines which are the main reason I stay away from comic book movies in the start.

you can't offer sheet multiple players genius... the compensatory picks come from the next (consecutive) years...
- Big_Lightnin

Garth is from Canada.

Can't you guys keep him on a leash up there? Or drop him off north of Georgian Bay or something?

All people on other boards know about Sekera is what they read on this one. I'm telling you, he was effective last season. He is a beast in international competition, and has a very reasonable contract. I wouldn't want to trade him, except that the Swords have a surplus of NHL defensemen, and he has the highest trade value of non-core (i.e. non Myers, Erhoff) guys.

Would I give up four first round draft picks for O'Reilly? You betcher ass I would.

for a guy who's never scored 20 goals to come in and be your first-line centre?

- DoubleDown

It's "center", with an E-R.

I actually just saw Henry's Crime. Reeves was awful as usual but Vera Farmiga was outstanding.

I will agree with you that Batman Begins is not top of box office or rating charts..

but you have never seen The Dark Knight have you???

The Dark Knight is a top 10 movie made.. and from the early shows and screenings.. the critics are saying that The Dark Knight Rises could be even better.

frank Oshie....

Chris Stewart would be a better choice if we are trading with them... less injury prone.. brings the pain... big power forward..

IMDB is probably the largest movie fan website in the world... and probably the most common Movie Database for all movie related topics whether it be trivia, facts, etc anything...

And of all the people in the world...

The Dark Knight is ranked as the 8th highest movie ever..

http://www.imdb.com/chart/top

just saying... I am definitely not alone on this even with my homer Batman loving views.
