I'm with you in that I loved The Dark Knight, but this is a pretty bad case that you're making. I would say that TDK is among the best EVER comic book movies, but I'm not sure it makes a top 100 movies of all time list. It was kind of long, and most of the scenes without the Joker were just OK. But acting was not a problem in that movie. Also, if people can't suspend reality enough to enjoy fantasy movies, let them be. That's their loss.

I sure hope Garth doesn't get paid by the hit or post count that these threads generate because I would hate to think that we've contributed to any sort of success that he's achieved in the blogger world.

I know it's been a running joke for a while "we don't read the blogs anyway", but holy hell this has just gotten out of control. We've got one of the biggest fan presences on this site and we deserve a better blogger.

The thing about a top 10 or top 100 list is that everyones list is different. Everyone has different opinions on what makes a good movie and what doesnt.

But the fact of the matter is, for TDK to be ranked the #8 movie on a website that allows hundreds of thousands of people (~730K people voted on TDK) to vote on their opinion, it shows you that TDK is actually on a lot of peoples top 10 lists.

I wouldnt put TDK in my top 10, but to many people, its a top 10 movie. I cant argue that.
