You know this lawsuit is the dumbest idea Arizona Ice, or whatever name of that group is, could have.
They sue Glendale and somehow get a 200m settlement (they wont win they broke Arizona Law, no matter how you look at it), now they are forcing Tax Payers to pick up that tab when its already a hot topic of Tax Payers not wanting to pay the 15m fees in that lease agreement. It will just further create a riff bw the City and the Team.
The writings on the walll, the Yotes are done in Glendale no matter what happens. They need to make the best of the situation, negotiate a short term lease with the city so they can find an alternative place to play or relocate out of Arizona.
Dragging this into court will damage the brand even fruther, and what Free Agent or prospect is going to want to go there now that its back to limbo land for the team. Figure it out, get a plan in motion. Their owners are not big time players, they barely have the means to fund the team, so trying to act like big swinging Richards is going to back fire on them |

Tbh, I can't blame you for being tired of covering all the Coyotes drama. It's been going on way too long. That said, and not to be a knob, it was probably a mistake to not only put a hockey team there, but build the arena where they did.
I totally agree with your write up though. For me, I have lost all interest in the story. Call me when they make playoffs or move.

The NHL is going to be a bald hick doing a fake head grab/jump move on the Coyotes? Now, THAT would be something that would draw a crowd in Arizona.
Without knowing all of the details, I will just say this: The Coyotes never should have existed. I feel bad for all of the people who love them, and they have every right to feel upset if the team does move. But Glendale never was, and likely never will be, a successful hockey team. I'm not saying that to be mean, and I may end up being proven wrong, but if you had a "Save the Team Rally" like they did in Atlanta, I doubt the turnout would be much greater. |

I hate to say it, but that is probably what sensible people would do. Hopefully they at least just move the team downtown or something.

ESPN had a article where they asked 2 lawyers what could happen and they said that Glemdale would have to prove Fraud in that the lawyer The yotes hired had a large influence on the 15 yr contract that was drafted and signed before leaving the city for the team. It appears the lawyer had a big say in the PREVIOUS agreement but had already been hired away by the Coyotes before he had drafted the NEW agreement. This is why the NHL and the Yotes ownership is adamant this is ridiculous.

Sounds great for us
Also, I'm bored as hell... only so many real trade ideas I can throw out before the insane ones have to spew forth.
Sutter and Harrington might be more on the lines of fair... Center need for you guys, despite his flaws, and Harrington's high ceiling makes sense for a team rebuilding. |

Rob Schneider >> David Cross - Byfuglien Ate Me
David Cross is a comedy genius. He played Tobias Fumke for the love of Coconuts, never compare him to Rob Schnieder...........but out of curiosity, why did you bring up David Cross? |

Your opinion is completely, inconceivably wrong. Rob Schneider is better than most Steve Buschemi roles in Adam Sandler post-The Wedding Singer, but that's about it. |

Vegas's stadium is supposed to be ready what, beginning of 2016? So Yotes just gotta hold on another year? Entire situation sucks, but the beginning of the end has arrived. Smartest thing that ever happened in a similar situation was Atlanta packed up and left quietly after 8? years instead of dragging its team through the mud. Feel bad for Shane Doan at the end of the day |

My 90's bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers Hate them
, U2 Love Them Soundgarden Hate them Stone Temple Pilots Underrated, discredited as a Pearl Jam knock off, but in a lot of ways, a more interesting band, Tool Love them, and Collective soul Highly underated. The record with Gel is great front to back - SmielmaN

Boedker can't be traded because he wouldn't get a lot for him because any team is just gonna look at his stats and not his talent. The Coyotes however, have spent years developing him and can now ice him with some real talent, so I figure he has more value to us than anyone would pay. |

That Collective Soul album was all hits. Completely correct!
Tool has been working on the new album for about 3 hrs now, supposedly , so hopefully by next spring it drops and becomes the soundtrack to my life. Maynard just had a hip replacement so I can see some hilarious stage work where he just sits in a wheel chair, in front of a screen, on his own stage. Or whips around stage like a maniac on a rascal scooter hahaha |

I think that most GMs are smart enough to look at his overall play and not just his stats (both the traditional and fancy kind). That said, his value to the Coyotes is much more than his value as a tradable commodity. It would take a severe overpayment (think Keith Yandle) to get him. |

The thing about Tool is that it's been over ten years since their last record and now they are approaching 50. I don't have high hopes for a metal band with 50 year olds in it, no matter how badass even the last (and lets face it, worst by far, but still good) Tool album was. |
