Would love Blackwood if we could secure a high 2nd |

Does anyone else think the signing of the 33 year old Russian defenseman Medvedev had anything to do with their draft plans??? Maybe a mentor if he hangs around longer? |

I will "third" that notion.....apparently Hexy is pretty confident he can shed salary...if you believe Pinaccio!! I would think 10 am is must watch TV...probably a lot of chatter going on... |

No, I don't think one had anything to do with the other in this case. Actually, Provorov is already more acclimated than Medvedev.

ecstatic with provorov! happy with konecny... i personally would not have drafted a player with concussion history, perhaps. especially with this team's injury legacy. |

I have no doubt he can, just can't expect great returns. They can make moves, though. From what Hextall said, he could have made more moves at the TDL |

Even adding 3rd round picks is fine....you can always package them and move up for another second and maybe grab a goalie....very happy with first round....Konecny has potential to be a star. |

Let's hope we see Schenn and Grosmann moved. Shed some $.
I still wouldn't be suprised to see a guy we least expect to be moved. |

Konecny plays with the same reckless abandon as Taylor Hall does... Flyers fans are gonna love him.
The 1st-round realistically couldn't have worked out any better. A+ |

Streit and MDZ are probably the only dmen on the current roster who could fetch a top-90 pick in this draft, I'm thinking. |

They could flip Gudas too but I'm hoping it's Grossmann.
I still really wouldnt mind a BSchenn for pure LW hockey trade going down. |

Hextall should offer MDZ to the Avs for 31 and 40. Grab Blackwood and a winger. |

They just dealt one guy who wanted too much money and picked up a LHD in Zadorov, so trading for MDZ seems unlikely. |

Grossmann needs to go -- even if they don't get anything back.
Schenn and Gudas are at least RH'd.

Really feel like schenn stays. Mainly for his age and last name. Mdz grossman are my picks to leave either now or at trade deadline |
