I realize some of the images may not be working due to Imgur's servers crashing. Hang tight, and hopefully they come back up soon.

The whole article was not intended to breakdown the giraffe wearing a top hat with kittens on its' back. Believe me.

That was the first game I was able to attend this season and one of the things I liked was the score-board now tracks teams FO%. I couldn't help but notice that the Kings were terrible at the dot all night that night, at one point the Canes held the advantage 75%-25%... WTH?? Are their guys that good at the dot?? It was very frustrating to see Kopi and Carts lose draw after draw...

Much tighter game last night. somehow managed not to get killed with the speed of the jets.

Still think Nolan should be getting a rest soon and let Weal get some serious ice time in relation to none at all and if we could work Mersche into the line up, it would help (although I don't see how we fit him in)

Never thought I would be saying that kings are leading the pacific division in October and that Toffoli would have more goals than Ovechkin, but it's happening, facts are facts at the moment.

And hey, Winnepeg fans, way to go there with your incredulous loud rumbles whenever there was a perceived non call on the kings last night. Do you even register the amount of legit non calls your team got away with?

I won't be sad if I never see Weal in a Kings uniform again. Trade him for a 3rd round pick already.

You developed this opinion from less than 8 minutes of NHL ice time?

Not at all. I developed this opinion well before that. I'll post again what I posted during the preseason.
As much as I respect the games of both Weal and O'Neill, I don't think the Kings system will allow for players of their size to succeed. They'll be given a shot during a handful of games, but I don't see them being mainstays on the roster. I imagine they'll go the way of Teddy Purcell and Matt Moulson and end up being 20-30g scorers for teams like Montreal, Tampa Bay, or Carolina.

Everyone has a price. Wouldn't shed a tear if Weal was traded. This team, however, struggles with scoring. Weal has proven himself as offensively-gifted in the minors. Seems to be a waste if Kings' management doesn't at least see whether Weal can cut it in the NHL. Less than 8 minutes of ice time at the NHL level in Weal's career is not a sufficient test.
