NJD wants the 1st rounder that Leafs dont have along with the D-prospect the Leafs cant give them (Sandin). So unless NJD are taking Ceci, 2019 3rd rounder, & Liljengrn ...this is not happening.
This could explain why the Leafs decided to call up TL up from the AHL for the Sabers gamne tonight. |

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Ray took a pick, which is a gamble because his drafting record sucks, but I’d love it if he took on some players that you at least know what their floor is and can try to develop them. |

what are you talking about? FLA alone has made the playoffs twice (total of 13 plaoff games) since Jan 1, 2001 and have lost in the first round. In that same time span the Leafs have made the playoffs 8 times!!
EDIT: 2019 CLB won their FIRST playoff series ever!! thats 19 years 1 playoff round
Its a waste of my time to list the other teams since your clearly biased and dont know what your'e talking about. |

Sami seems to be one good/bad bodycheck away from forced retirement.
Leafs will take that risk and trade Ceci straight up, with NJ paying the $$ difference.
