one of the problems is though, he is always a second away from retweeting something that he may not even realize is that inflammatory
look at what Trump did
one month ago, Trump retweeted a Trump parade video, in it a supporter yells "WHITE POWER!!"
i think if you give Trump the benefit of the doubt, he didn't watch the whole thing and didn't realize that was there, he did it by accident and he's Trump
if Tony D did that? forget it, in this environment?
Tony D isn't going to win the War against cancel culture and personally I'd rather he just focus on hockey - jimbro83
This usually never works out for players and team. Id cut my losses and avoid another Kapernick situation. |

Id love to keep Fast for the 3rd line, but its really gonna come down to whether they can move out one of those contracts without absorbing money. |

Will cover this on my ADA blog, which is next in line. New York is going to have a very tough decision. ADA's comment to Shayna Goldman yesterday on her analytics blog and then his liking the basically anti-BLM tweet won't help his case. |

Fast will be back. Quinn loves him. When he talks about him, you can really sense how important he is tonthis team.
Moves will be made to accommodate his raise. |

Love Fast, but price tag could force him out |

Great post Jan. Fast is a prime example of a player you don't really notice on the ice and don't really know what you've got till it's gone. I suspect somebody would pay him 3M, but that's 3rd line money, and if there isn't a spot on the 3, I think you need to let him walk. Keeping him at deadline, which happened before everything shut down, is telling though - since Rangers were in no way a lock to make it, suggests they intended to keep him. That being said, with a flat cap it's a different scenario. Any idea who slots on PK with him out? |

ADA's overt politics and inclination to bombast hurt him - is there any team in the league where this rhetoric would be welcome, or at least palatable? IMO he seems like a ticking Leipsic PR nightmare waiting to happen, albeit one more likely forgiven as talent can serve to offset distasteful character. All I know is as a fan of a team who could really use him, I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. |

Still find it funny to see Strome projected to get 8 years at $7.6 per. |

Sell high on the over-rated Strome and one-dimensional little weenie TDA. There are only two FA’s we should be re-signing. One is the guy that will give us the best, young goalie tandem in the league. The other is Mr. Jesper Fast. The leader by example. The glue guy. The player’s player. Love Quickie. Just get it done. |

Tampa used the 19th overall pick for him and traded him for a 2nd rounder without even letting him develop.
Ironically enough they used that pick on Libor Hajek |

This needs to get done. I have no issue with Fast at 3/$3M per. As a 3rd line forward and a guy that can fill top-six when injuries occur is priceless at that cost. You want a guy to mentor the kids, it's Fast. Guy hustles and does all he can nearly every shift. |

Send them both to Columbus for Josh Anderson. Mix-in picks to get it done. |

There is a female blogger who loves writing analytic blogs that he openly mocked and then he liked an anti BLM post. He also spend the rest of the day fighting with fans.

Thanks. Perhaps I shouldn’t even bother to look at these steaming piles, but I like knowing the enemy. Where do I find them? |

His twitter is @tonydee07
I really Really like Tony as a player. I’d love for him just to focus on hockey.
There are people who love that he hates libs and constantly attacks them, but, how does this help us win a Stanley cup.
That’s all I care about |

Twitter is a cesspool. I have no idea why anyone is even on that platform. Athletes and Politicians shouldn't even be allowed to use it. |

And then he was jettisoned from Arizona after a year. I don't see him back here next year for hockey (see below), business (big contract he requires will be an issue), and character reasons. He is entitled to speak his mind but he is not entitled to be free from ramifications of doing so (if there are any to be had)
We have all the offense in the world in our forward group and we have Fox, Trouba, Miller, Lundkvist on D. Assuming another team is willing to take on the perceived baggage, I imagine he and Georgi will be dangled for a 2C. |
