I actually agree with Brooks here.
I've been saying this since the start. The Rangers defeat themselves when something bad happens. It's a consequence of being the youngest team for sure, but I would have hoped the leadership and coaching would help them work through some of this issue at this point.
They definitely miss Panarin's inspired style of play to help work through these growing pains.
Welcome to the rest of the season. This is the Rangers for 20-21 boys. |

At this point he’s killing the team in multiple ways.
They need his talent, we can’t call anyone up bc of the cap hit and mentally it’s gotta be a bit draining on the team |

You can sit shiva for “breads” return this season. Formal Rangers announcement on or about March 20-24. Hope I’m wrong, but don’t think so. Sorry.
There is a real cautionary tale here. When dealing with a powerful, dangerous man like Putin, it’s best to keep your mouth shut. |

Seriously, if you’re innocent get back on the ice already, 8 games because some Russian goon accused you of something
I’m sick of Pittsburgh having our number, that team is mediocre outside of their top 3, defense is garbage and the goaltending is awful |

He ain’t coming back. The Rangers, nor the NHL can assure his safety. Besides, with this much time away from the team, it would take at least 10 days to back to speed. |

If that’s the case when can they terminate his contract and get the $11.5m we need for some call ups |

I think the Rangers used up all their lottery luck anyway. Not trying to be the new Oilers here. |

The Rangers will be well set in the next 2 to 3 years. In a rebuild you cant live game to game. Its been just 3 years that the rebuild started. People have much to high expectations for this team. These kids need more development time. A playoff run would have been nice but without Panarin, i dont think its in the cards. Still dont understand DQ's infatuation with Howden. |

I don't know, did the 12:35 he played last night really effect things much?
they had open nets in the 3rd period and blew a billion chances, that was the reason they lost

That is the hardest part for me to accept. Compared to previous years, this Penguins team is NOT very strong, yet they have taken 5 out of 6 from us. SMH |

That’s what killed me last night. Multiple Grade A chances in the final few minutes. The goalie made some good saves but if Buch lifts the puck they are practically tap ins. It’s been a theme all season long. Rangers can’t score clutch goals when it counts, and on the flip side don’t get those clutch saves either. All part of the learning process for a young team I suppose but it feels like they are so close to being legitimate that it makes these games hurt more. |

somebody on twitter commented this morning that Pionk has 18 assists in Winnipeg, because that's what Rangers twitter does, everytime we lose, we check the stats of guys who left and then complain about it.
But if Adam Fox was in Winnipeg right now with those finishers, he'd probably have 30 assists at this point.

They are an experienced veteran team. Better coach and system too. They will decline in a year two big time like the caps |

Nobody in their right mind would have taken Pionk over Trouba back when the trade happened. Nobody. |
