Oh dude, no way!!! You’re so cool, that actually made me laugh. I hate posting so close together!
I hope we can have some coffees at a game sometime!
Where you’re definitely right on Griffs, it’s hard to get excited about the AHL journeyman talent. I keep forgetting about Chase Pearson. They’re hoping he can grab a 4th line job some day. |

In the interest of fairness (because you are making a fair point) here is the quote and my response. Since McIsaac will be a Griff (most likely) this is a good thread to keep going.
I would lower the Griffins expectations as well. The young guys that will be down there will mostly be adapting to the NA game, could look a little rough. Those who don't struggle could/should have a legit chance of cracking the big squad.

I’m fairly optimistic. In part, because if the top guys can’t break the top 6 in the NHL they’re going to start in GR. Veleno, Berggren and Raymond will probably all be down there (Raymond seems to have the best chance of breaking through for the “pundits” right now). Veleno can’t get reps at center (if they’re still going to put him there) and Berggren has been really impressive in a league that’s not a huge leap going to the AHL. Beyond winning or losing, the ice time and development should be well worth watching.

Lmao! Just giving you a hard time since I am fairly spacey in posting, but read almost all blogs. I agree with your points but expect Veleno in the lineup opening night, he looked like he belonged last year.
The journeyman talent, man who was the last mid-20 year old to finally breakthrough? Very hopeful for McIsaac, loved when we snagged him.

For sure! Hoping to make it to a handful of games this year. Haven't really picked out any games that are must sees for me. |

I agree. Until we see how everyone actually looks together, it’s going to be tough to pick what the “fun” games will be. Buffalo could be some nice nights to pad stats. |

I do want to try to go see McDavid play. Not any fun for the Wings but to see him vs way lesser competition could be exciting. |

He’s worth the ticket. I still like watching Ovi too. Panarin is a lot of fun too. Barkov for FLA is a pain but love how he plays |

Nice. It is a lot of fun to see some of the stars up close like that. I loved watching people line up to see Pav back in the day. |
