I'd love that, but have serious doubts that will happen. Maybe if we were willing to take on a bad contract like Meyers as well. That could provide further insurance to selling off Sevo as well. Man was he bad lastnight, and most nights. He simply walked away from that 2 on 1, and every shot against he never seems to tie the guys up in front of the net, nor push them out of the way. He simply relies on his offense, which isn't anything too noteworthy. Guy has never been a + for a single season in his career, and to hit -128 already is a pretty big red flag. Not saying Meyers is any better than Sevo, but Garland and Meyers certainly bring a bit more intensity to the lockerroom than Sevo and Zacha.

Yeah i was being facetious on the one-for-one deal. I do think Zacha would interest them though because 'hes big and can play center' and costs half of what Garland does, but we almost certainly would need to add onto it. If we're moving Severson, i want Boeser over Garland. Also, if we're taking that awful Myers contract they better be paying us to take it, because hes been worse than OEL.

Garland and Meyers for Sevo and Zacha would be an awful trade for us. Sevo is the best player in the deal AND we're taking on a bad contract? That would be terrible.

I agree. Yes, he didnt do well defending that 2 on 1, but Bratt is the reason that play started with a bad pass.
