Brian Sickles: WSH 5, CGY 4 - Ovechkin Ties Jagr for 3rd All-Time w/ Goal #766

Good win last night and a very exciting game. Caps were pretty sharp throughout and seem to be a more focused and hard (stoudt) team to play on the road. I am glad they will be the away team in most playoffs this year. I think it strangely gives them a better chance this spring although playing Carolina or Florida is a huge task.

Hopefully the Caps have righted the ship before it capsized completely. They have looked quite good here of late. Vitek has a lot of confidence and is playing good in goal. Sheary, Jensen, Dowd, Hathaway, Van Riemsdyke...all playing great hockey right now and all doing so at a fairly cheap price.
