Karine Hains: Does Price Deserve the Rafters? Ever since Kent Hughes revealed that the star goaltender will once more be headed to LTIR this season, there’s been a lot of chatter about whether he deserves to have his name and number in the rafters of the Bell Center.

He could have been there. Was very close to it. But end of the day i don't think it's enough without a cup.

His individual accomplishments and international work probably outshines his Habs career, oddly enough.

He’s under contract for four more years. A little premature for this convo isnt it?

He’s not playing again. He’ll LTIR into the sunset just like Weber

Sure, but I don't think Habs would retire his number while he's on LTIR.

Nah but his body of work is now complete so that’s why people are talking about it

Fine. Then have the discussion when he’s off LTIR and officially retires.

he had one real good season, like Theodore before him.
beside that he won with the Canadian team, but really any decent goalie would have won too.
not enough to retire his number imo. HHoF sure.

One year with plenty or hardware and 3 years in a row voted best goalie by his peers, i can’t see that as only one good season

I wouldn't worry too much about what mr.turd thinks, being generally unpleasant seems to be in his DNA.

maybe an outlook on the upcoming Laval Rocket roster?
you could also try to get in touch with some former Habs, get an interview over the phone. you're pretty at good at that. maybe Habs public relations dpmt can hook you up.

There was a fundraiser game between former habs and employees of the CN this weekend in Brossard.

I happened to be there because my son had his novice practice at the same time on the other ice.

We went over there afterwards, had the chance to chat a little with some players which was great.

Guy I was most surprised to see there was Pierre Dagenais.
